I really appreciate you showing the difference between having the clipper too straight when taking out the line versus actually going with the scalp. That was the biggest mistake I was making starting out. Thank you.

The video is helpful for new barbers. The video quality is excellent, and the voice is clear and calming. The video teaches the basics of how to use clippers and trimmers, which will help me as I cut my son's hair. I am certain I will be able to cut his hair and that he will be pleased with the result.

Thomas, thanks for being so detailed. I haven't cut hair in years and it was at college when we wore Afro. I've been asked to cut a senior citizen's hair that's in a wheelchair. He can't afford a $150 cut because he's homebound. I will continue to view your videos to help me with this project.

I was thinking of giving up on this profession,because i just couldn't get into it, watched way too many videos,but none of them were helpful,and as the time went on i felt desperate trying to learn all of it in a short span of time... great video can’t wait to get in the shop tomorrow and start your technique. Maybe you should do a video on how to manage your time and booking schedules. I find myself telling a person this time and then getting push back and forgetting sometimes that a client was coming at this time. So a video on helping us managing or barber schedules and time would be great

Hey there Ive been thinking about going to barber school for awhile . 2 problems . I didn't graduate and I'm broke lol but I've been shaping my dad's hair all my life I have some very basic knowledge lol. But this video was so helpful now when my ex asks me to shape him or do the back I can't wait to try your techniques because I've been blind as a bat doing it this whole time lol and I hated how uncomfortable I felt holding the clippers and as you said I was scared to actually shave the hair so this was a great video to boost confidence!!
