My teacher says that the chair should be at your chest level. You don't want to be reaching or slouching over the client.

I was thinking of giving up on this profession,because i just couldn't get into it, watched way too many videos,but none of them were helpful,and as the time went on i felt desperate trying to learn all of it in a short span of time... Hey there Ive been thinking about going to barber school for awhile . 2 problems . I didn't graduate and I'm broke lol but I've been shaping my dad's hair all my life I have some very basic knowledge lol. But this video was so helpful now when my ex asks me to shape him or do the back I can't wait to try your techniques because I've been blind as a bat doing it this whole time lol and I hated how uncomfortable I felt holding the clippers and as you said I was scared to actually shave the hair so this was a great video to boost confidence!!
