That was a nice job on the mallet. Oh I like that swage block. You will be able to do some cool stuff with that. 👍

"Playing musical tools" and having it stop become a mental stop (2:30) is something I'm struggling with, too, now that I'm down to a little garage. Sometimes I literally spend a 30 minutes moving stuff to do a 15 minute job! Another great video. :)

Oh, I should add, I'm looking forward to the swage block video. :) I've never done it, only read about it in old sheet metal books.

@@WideVisionMetalFab Yea. I could spend 1/2 a video just showing the hassle. Man, I do miss videos of that Rockford lathe!

Fred Flinstone: Where did my T-rex hunting club go? Those hammers are usually used for shaping sheet metal, usually with a leather bag filled with sand or a stump with a dish shape in them. Nice swage block man, that'll be nice to use as soon as you dress the edges on it, lol.

Yea. I almost did a Captain Caveman yell in the video.

I’ve got the same belt sander! What kind of motor do you have on it?
@eviltwinx3 жыл бұрын
Right on! It’s an old GE 1725 1/4 hp motor. I have replacement parts to make it track better. Just need time to work on it.

@@eviltwinx I’ve got a 1 hp baldor motor on it. They are great sanders. Very durable
