Im 11 and I really love cosplay but I feel like im to young for it and I felt like my mom would never let me cosplay, but then one day I decided to tell her, that was the day I fell in love with black butler! So I told her, a day after I told her she called me downstairs and when I went downstairs she Suprised me with tikets to anime revolution this Augest and so I got to pick my cosplays for that and im so exited to go!!!! Ok so I know your comment was uploaded a year ago, but there is literally way to much stigma around cosplayers having a certain age. Age is just a number. Show your parents some good cosplays (Not lewd cosplays that will only ruin it for you) and see if they like it. If not then I'm sorry. Also sorry if you don't have this issue anymore

I'm currently 13 and somehow got my parents to support me when I told them I wanted to cosplay. I mean, it took a little bit, and I suggest showing them pictures of friends and/or people you know about who cosplay characters they know! I believe you can do it :)

Hey not to be a bother but you could start cosplaying and just taking pictures. You could then post pictures on like Instagram or something. I struggle with anxiety at times too and I've never been to a con but I mostly just take pictures and post for now! Hopefully that helps some how! ✌🏻️

You are so so sweet and supportive. I totally relate to the whole "went to one con, loved it, then didn't touch cosplay for a long time" bc that's exactly what I've done in the last few months lol. Now that I'm forced to be home for a while, I finally have the time/motivation/excuse to really get into cosplay on my own. I really love this video. I'm waiting for my first cosplay to come in the mail and honestly, I'm really nervous. my friends support me cosplaying I actually have four friends that will cosplay with me also my one friend won't do it with us because she always gets embaressed by it even though cosplaying made her happy she stopped and we keep trying to get her to do it again but she won't and also my school is so mean to me and my friends because of it but you see were not aloud to do all out makeup because it's school and my principal is an uptight bitch I actually know the high school principal he's super chill with people cosplaying but the Middle school principal is like I said earlier and unfortunately I have her as my principal and also two of my friends that cosplay are now getting homeschooled and I want to die even though those two are my neighbors and I could literally just show up there and there mom would be like "oh hey Haley you decided to come over?" and she'll let me stay also a lot of my teachers don't even let me wear wigs except three of them there those chill teachers that don't give a crap about what you do unless you don't get in your work which two are boy teachers and the Girl teacher has had me since 6th grade so those three are my chill dudes they my friends.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make a wig less itchy? I just bought my first wig and it's a short wig (for Eren Jaeger) and it's super itchy, especially in the back.

God that’s the worst! You can try washing your wig with fabric softener! Just throw it in some water with fabric softener mixed in (like in the sink or tub) and let it sit for awhile before rinsing out!
