My Janome died back in the beginning of 2019 so I wasn’t able to do any embroidery so my wonderful husband just bought me the Brother NQ3500D so first thing, I opened up Embird again YAY.... downloaded the new update 2020 so pretty excited to see what’s new, but this video is a fantastic refresher for me. I’ll need to see if I can catch some live videos if you still do them but if not these work too. Thank you for all the time you put into these tutorials so helpful. Now what to make next 😃

yes! feel free to watch them as many times as you need - it's easy having them all up on youtube! You can access the videos on your phone or ipad too. A friend of mine watched the live on a big screen TV!

Thank you for this Beginner Video. After that more things are clearer then before. Is it possible that Embird change the names of the modules?
@OMLembroidery6 жыл бұрын
the Embird Modules have been the same for years :)

Hi thanks for this video. I have a question regarding saving the file. First i save the image i digitized in studio. Then open the studio to save it for machine to read it right? Would love if you do small video how to save the file and final save to put in a usb and insert in the machine.
@OMLembroidery6 жыл бұрын
When you are saving a file that you are digitizing yourself, you need to save it in Studio as an .EOF file so you can go back and edit it whenever you want to. If you are not in studio, then Embird will save it as a stitch file (PES, HUS, etc.)

Thank you so much for the reply. I tried playing with editor but i find there is no use of editor beside saving the file design i digitise on studio. In my case i take lets say a cross or draw a cross which i export it from studio then i start digitizing it and when its done i view it in 3D and how its swing it like you suggested to do, i save it as EOF file on my desktop. and i recently learned how to go back to editor with same image i edit in studio. I save it as PES file on my desktop then i close everything. I tried few times taking the pic in usb that's the PES file only and into my persona machine but one problem i only seeing the outline picture of what i did but not the whole 3d look i was hoping to get. Maybe i need to combine the files into 1 in studio before saving to EOF and PES? or take EOF and PES file to Machine? God bless you. you are very helpful

I checked earlier today i never saved as EOF and the save botton not on in studio to save it even while the photo i edit is selected. I export it to SVG. then am saving it in editor as PES. Please help me regarding saving the file in studio and from where? no save bottom is showing
@saykareena6 жыл бұрын
Maybe because its a trail version of embird software not the full one? that am not able to see the save bottom in studio to save the file to EOF? Am willing to get it.
@OMLembroidery6 жыл бұрын
yes, that is the problem right from the start. You can't save anything on the trial version.

I can't seem to get my Embird trail software to work. I have no clue what I'm doing. Do you still offer these classes? That way I can interact with you while working the software.
@OMLembroidery5 жыл бұрын
if you are working in the trial version of Embird, you can't save anything and you can't stitch anything. Hope that helps.

hello! does the software embird do it all or do I need a different software with it? I just want to digitize images

On the letters in editor, why does it have a stitch between the letters? The sew simulator shop that it will no look clean. THE CONNECTING STITCH SHOWS UP IN 3D VIEWS ALSO

I have an old version of Embird and when I save a file to .pes, it won't open on my PE770 Brother emb. machine. I have to open it is buzz tools and have it fix the file to another version of .pes and save that to my card or usb and it opens in my PE770. How can I get Embird to save it to the correct version of .pes? thanks
@OMLembroidery4 жыл бұрын
update to embird, then you will have access to the correct version of PES.

I have downloaded most of my fonts as OTF files. Do they also work?
@OMLembroidery6 жыл бұрын
yes, they should. they are basically the same as TTF.
