That is an awesome fly! I’m going to tie some up to give to a couple of new-to-fly fishing friends. And I’ll make a few for myself. Thank you for your videos.

Always good to help the new guys. If you use allot of streamers in your waters this will be a keeper. Tie them some Griffiths Gnats #14 so they can score some on dries.

Will do. Thanks for the advice.

Aww, it's too simple, Jim. Since I have all that tinsel I told you about, I think I'll add a tinsel body over the wire. Thanks for another great fly.

You can do that it won't hurt.

@@TheFlymanJim I meant, it is so simple even I can tie it, but I can't resist adding some more flash.

The feather will lay down after it's wet, but you can take a hair dryer and blow the feather back after your done tying it, Davie McPhail does that on his flies with large feathers.

what kind of UV light are using? and what is that resin again?
@TheFlymanJim3 жыл бұрын
I'm using the DeerCreek Diamond Fine resin. The light I don't know just a UV light. I think you can but UV Bulbs for any light.
