You are at the right place, my friend! Although KZbin has been of great help, I feel most people understand better with a mentor guiding them. Most successful people seek help from professionals, thus their success. But many claim to have achieved success themselves!

Following the fantastic housing cost talk you gave Anthony: My husband and I make 105k together, and our house payment is $840 a month all in. It's a very modest home, but it's comfy for us and our baby. And when we have a second child, we will have enough room in our budget for me to quit my job and stay home with the kids. It's not supposed to be about having a house to flex, our home is a cozy place that keeps us safe and is our haven. Modesty and self confidence is a superpower as far as I'm concerned

Anthony, I enjoy all of your videos and you are giving great advice to everyone who watches and supports your channel. Its hard for most to understand and swallow the bitter pill of having to tell yourself not to waste money on b.s. and save it instead. So many want to live a life of keeping up with the Jonses which will cost you in the short and long term. I wanted to share a story which will be long to read, but I hope your viewers can walk away with something from my experience. But first, I wanted to add one of the things my wife and I do is whenever our expenses are below our budget, ex: the electric bill will run $200-$300 a month during the warmer months and say one month the electric bill is only $150. We budgeted for $300 which means we have a extra $150 extra. Instead of using that extra money to play with and have fun, we look at it as it is already spent and add it to our savings account instead. If people learn to do this with all of their monthly expenses they will build up a nice savings that way. Now to my personal experience I wanted to share. Over a decade ago we had a college age daughter in school and was living out on her own using her student loans to support herself which we helped to pay for. My wife and I were enjoying our lives going out and doing things like playing in billiards pool and bowling leagues and eating out whenever we wanted to. Our daughter had a few credit cards she maxed out and it reached a point she could no longer live out on her own and had to move back home with us so we could help to get her back on her feet again. We took on paying many of our daughter's bills she had, which meant my wife and I could no longer do the things we had been doing in order to help our daughter. My wife who manages the money anf pays all our bills came to me and explained that we could no longer go out and do any of the things we had been doing before our daughter moved back home. This meant we had to quit our hobbies and etc and eat at home every day. We didn't go out to eat anymore or spend any money having fun. I admit it got hard to do and became depressing at times, but we got through it to help our daughter. It was another way of teaching our daughter to not rack up a bunch of debt when you don't have the money to spend freely as you wish. This lasted for about a year before our daughter was able to move back out on her own. Not long after our daughter moved out and no longer needed our financial help my wife came to me and asked if I wanted to go out to eat for dinner. I was taken back by her suggestion still in the mindset of we have no extra money to spend. This is when my wife told me that we do have the extra money to spend since we were no longer helping our daughter. But, I was pleasantly surprised when my wife shared something else with me, which is, we had a large amount of money in our savings account too. I thought all of our savings had been spent to help our daughter. I was so happy to hear the news from my wife as she explained to me had we continued living our life as we had before our daughter moved back home that I would be right in my assumption our savings account would be empty. However, because we sacrificed our luxuries and stuck to our basic neccesities for that year it helped us to protect what we had in savings from the start and we were able to add to it during that entire year our daughter was loving at home with us. I know its hard to sacrifice many of the luxuries and enjoyments in life to reach a financial goal. However, I assure you it is well worth it in the end if you can discipline yourself and say no. That year of sacrifice helped us all the way into today. Anthony, I wish you all the great blessings God can give to you and your viewers. God bless!

He said he buys in bulk. And he prepares his meals. The problem is many people don’t prep their meals and use delivery as a convenience. And when they do go shopping at the store. They buy a bunch of frozen appetizers and snacks and meaningless things instead of actually buying to create meals. Get a bjs Costco card and buy plenty of things in bulk and get your meat fresh locally for a months worth. Cook what you need for each week but keep it frozen whatever portions you’re not using. No reason for people to have these astronomical food bills if they follow this mindset.
