Can you please explain what the purpose of adding the "weeding box" to the image is? That's the first time I've seen that tip being used. I know you stated it was to lessen the wasted material but can you explain further please ma'am, thank you!
@svgme48674 жыл бұрын
It makes weeding much easier so you don't pull up parts you don't want, prevents wasted material and creates straight edges for your design. So many reasons it's awesome - I urge you to try it and that will really help it click as to why they are useful :)

Thank you! I will definitely give it a try. My main issue with working with vinyl is the weeding process. I have had to trash & start completely over too many projects because I havei removed parts of the design that should have stayed. Weeding Is not an easy feat for someone who has Attention Deficit Disorder, lol. Luckily, my husband enjoys watching the design come to fruition as he weeds so he does it for me now. Maybe your tip will help a girl out!

@@marciespeakmanskinner4356 Weeding boxes can definitely help with this issue. In fact, you can do smaller boxes around each text line or the more detailed areas you are having trouble weeding so it's easier to have more control and not pull anything extra up. Other tips are go slow and pull back and not up when weeding
