It might be a good idea to rename this video just for better visibility for the KZbin search algorithm. I highly recommend renaming it to something like how to use your phone as an elgato stream deck or something like that.

My Touch Portal just simply won't connect to Touch Portal. When I click Tools in OBS I can see the websocket plugins dislpayed there, and can mess around with it, however it's like the two programs just won't sync to each other. Any ideas what could be happening?

Thank you ... I set up TP and the one thing I missed is the drop-down is/is not for scene change event - so now I should be able to do the background colour on/off for active scene.

Would have been nice to know that you needed to click the icon that looks like a power cable end that you plug into the wall (right next to the settings cog icon). Once you do that, click "Connect with OBS." As long as everything is the same, it should work.

You can get by without the pro, but your phone must be connected to the pc via usb to do so. You only get 8 buttons to work as well.

@@agitatedpanda3543 was that done honestly or through other means? Not that I care either way, I pirate plenty of shit myself, but I'm sure there are people here who would like to know how. I bought the pro just because they're doing what Elgato wants to charge $200 for at a fraction of the cost. Not everyone can pay for it and that's just life, pirating it won't hurt anyone if that's what you had to do.

I've got so many problems. 2 streamers, 3 systems and I just can't simplify this in my head. Setting up my kid with tp and it wiped out my tablet. I wanted to try get tp to replace my stream deck but also want tp to be used on my gaming and streaming pc. I was gonna explain in discord but didn't know which place to post setups in.

might wanna remake this video, or add a disclaimer with OBS 30, you don't need the plugin, and installing the plugin will actually make things WORSE and, to actually use the touch portal OBS connectivity, you need to spend money on the touch portal pro version
