If there's a Trout in the water? She can't resist! I bought 1, the Texas Chicken Fattie Corky. They will pull the Rod from your hands if you ain't ready! I walked out on the Quintana Jetties & limited out in 10min on 20" plus size Spec's! June 30th- July 1st I started culling the 17" to 18" Trout. Change your knot or check your flouro leader line at the lure after catching a few. I had a 26" plus size Spec come up & grab the whole bait, turn & snap! I use larger clips, walk the dog & they react fine, I bend the nose & tail down just a tad.. I have every Corky made now! You can't go wrong. They'll smoke that lure & trash fish won't hit it.

Those used to be a Texas coast secret winter weapon lure 20 years ago. The only place we could get it was through the side door of Paul Browns garage.

Actually Paul Brown started from his home making these in his basement and his garage right where I used to live in Kent Ohio. It would just sell them right out of his garage until he had a big thing going and then he had to mass-produced them. When it got too much for him to be able to handle that's when he sold it to mirror lures

No problem! They take some getting use to for sure but are worth it if you can land the big ones.

All preference anything medium is good i like throwing a Laguna devil stick with 2 inches of the bottom and 2 inches off the top

What about like the devil dog. How come you didn't say anything about it and how to use it? Do you do it the same way as her different way to do it? Cuz each one going to have different reactions and actions and how their fish I wish you would have gotten into more detail about that.

Love the waterloo hat I do have the same one. which of the waterloo series do you use? I use the hp lights they are amazing. Also I have not caught my big fish on the corkie yet but I did catch 2 trout at one time on it so that was really cool. Great tips keep up the good work
@tidesfishing95344 жыл бұрын
Haha two fish with one lure, thats impressive! And I personally use the waterloo baitrunner and HP lite. If I had to choose just one though I would go with the Salinity. It's just an all around solid rod to me.

Was disappointed when I noticed that the metal eye on my Fatboy was not correctly centered in the lure. Should’ve returned it but thinking it is correctable. Any tips?

Hmm no experience with that problem personally. Does it throw off the action?

Your not a corky man unless you have 100 in your box.
