What about if your Battle Born Batteries are five years old? Does this app work on those?

@@battlebornbatteries I suppose an alternative question is can this capability be retrofitted into an existing battery, especially since it seems that the case dimensions haven't changed to accommodate it?

@@photo200no, you cannot retrofit Intelligence into a legacy Battleborn Battery. The BMS itself is entirely new in the new batteries. So while it is a similar architecture and similar case for the batteries.m, the guts are different.

@@Five_Star_Nomadic Thanks. That was my guess, but thought I'd ask. Our use case is simple enough that it's not an issue, but for those who really need it, there are external systems that can 'smartify' battery storage made with older batteries. The OP could look into those if there is enough of a need.
