Thank you for showing us how to shape, with also adding the acrylic. I always lose my shape once the acrylic is applied. Alot of nail techs just stop after the shaping, but dont add acrylic or go into detail with keeping that desired shape.

hey i’m from nebraska too! they definitely dont know the difference. my friend loves getting tapered square and they always give her coffin and she hates it. a lot of nail techs ive gone to in salons are older. i would suggest trying to find a younger tech that works from home or their own office, they probably know more about tapered square since its more popular now!

Dhayjanire Louisanneau Yes, we’re still on lockdown. A few locations reopened only. To answer the question of why: my only guess is, due to financial hardship. However, there’s no business coming in, or clients, for very distasteful reasoning and now, we’re experiencing terrible spikes of the virus in some states because of the rioting. Everyone’s ignoring the seriousness of this situation smh... Nevertheless, my family and I are remaining as safe as possible. Thank you beautiful, please practice safety as well🌈✨

Hello Vee, very good & informative , like one of your subscribers said; We never have enough learning or brush up skills no matter how long we’ve been doing nails. It is very very important to STILL see other ppls work, techniques, tips & tricks to apply that to our own talent & skills it will only make us better! Your tutorials are one of the Best because you take time to explain & speak in terms ppl can get & understand, yet staying very professional & likable. I also agree with another subscriber that tone in your voice helps., I love to watch tutorials it gives us the latest & newest in products & art., but I agree with another subscriber ;some ppls voice or even the music they play in the back ground is annoying.! ( I mute some tutorials ) They need to take in consideration when they record loud & busy, screaming voices is very distracting & annoying when your trying to learn & pick up tips & tricks.Your tutorials are bomb all the way! Thank you again for your talent.❤️

Hi Vee! I was wondering what monomer you would recommend. The one that I use has a super strong smell so I pretty much can't work with it

Bernadette Bernaldo; Hi, I’m Irene, I won one of her biggest give away & in it was a 8.oz bottle of what Vee uses., look in here description box below it’s from the company: Backstage Profiles. It is very very good very low smelling. I since have ordered a 32oz , this is the company she uses for all her decals( like the butterflies ) she uses., all her decals, her Beach glitter collection & my favorite The Crush Candy collection. All her colored beads, crystals, & the long square sponge buffers she uses. All this stuff is The bomb! Very very inexpensive you can afford to buy a lot for your money & I get a set of stuff every month. Don’t forget to add her discount where it asks you. VEEROCKS & for her acrylic line “ Not” Polish VEE88 I’m getting all the acrylic line little by little also. These acrylics are very good too. Look it up just hit where it says what she uses;Backstage Profile & it’s takes you to the page so you can start shopping & make your account. Good luck! ❤️

I asked her the same question a couple of videos ago and Vee got me hooked on the backstage profile monomer. It has an odor to it but it’s not as strong as the other ones. I use it at home, open one window and turn on a fan on low facing the window so that my son and I (who are asthmatic) don’t smell anything at all. Truly works. I Just ordered another bottle from them, I love it.

amazing tips! both nails and instructions!! Quick question, complete beginner here- OK, so say there's a client that one of their fingernails is like barely there. it was closed ( I was told) in a door years ago and just never grew back. 1st- can you still do that nail? 2nd- If you can, can/should you apply a tip or just the form with acrylic? and will it bother their finger? Or should you just leave that nail alone? THANK YOU!! :)

Love this video. My acrylic consistency sucks though :( When it's too wet I notice and try to work on that but then it ends up being toooo dry and then it sets really quickly and then the application is so bumpy. Hate it, lol. After filing it looks great but I spend sooo much time filing..

I know in this video you use a regular file after the arcrylic application but I want to know in what direction do you e- file with the KS drill on your dominant hand. Im afraid to go it the wrong direction and not trying hurt my drill because that piece is a VERY expensive to replace . I have tried...holding the drill with my left I have tried going from left to right and right to left but the second it makes a weird noise I panic and just pick up my regular file. Let me know until then I’ll just continue the regular file method until I figure this out. I don’t practice on people only on myself .
