BEGINNER OPERATOR TRYS CUTTING SLOPES IN THE RAIN

Welcome back to the jobsite! We are in the Kobelco 350 doing a big cut for our job. Its a rainy day, but at least I'm in the machine. I forget to explain how to cut the slopes in an excavator so forgive me but its pretty simple. As a beginner operator this is a crucial skill to learn when moving dirt so that the dozer operator has an easier time with his finish work. As always, thank you for the support and feedback! If you're looking at going through a school for it I would advise against it. I'm also Canadian and am a Driver/Operator for a local excavation company, I started out when I was young at 17 as a laborer and just worked my way up from there. Obviously you could go to a mine and start out in a haul truck and work hard if you don't want to touch a shovel and do labor work, but if you plan on working in the civil side of it with underground utilities you gotta start from the bottom. Knowing how to pipelay and install water and sewer...so on is great stuff to know, plus it helps once you become an operator and you're digging mainline or excavating around utilities in what to look out for and such. That's just my 2 cents on the subject but wish ya all the best!

@@CBen17 school is covered by gov, I hope to go into logging or mining after, and my course includes AZ for haul trucks. I would be fine doing manual labor if needed, spent 12 years in the infantry. Appreciate it!
