Hi! I love your tutorials! Do you mind explaining why you select certain things for your layers? (alpha lock, clipping mask, etc).

@@jennievu5006 alpha lock means you can’t draw out of the circle so then u don’t have to erase all of the time and clipping mask puts stuff on top of each other

I personally draw with one hand on the space bar to pause the video after each move you make, and the other for drawing and following along. I appreciate the voice overs, it's like an extra help to only subtitles (less looking back and forth from ipad to the screen etc). Your tutorials are the first ones I've touched, they are GREAT and much appreciated!

If you want the exact colors you can go to the colors section and pick the value tab at the bottom. Theres going to be a spot that says “Hexadecimal” you put the numbers/letters that are under the colors at the beginning of the video ^^ hope this helps!

Or you can screenshot the colors and upload the image before starting and use the eye dropper to select each color and put them in a new pallet

Hey, thank you for the tutorial. I have a question regarding the step 01:32 until 01:52, the colour drop. I followed your steps regarding the different layers etc, but the colour drop fills in the entire circle. I changed the threshold as well but not change. It worked as soon as I drew the mountain range on the layer below and used the colour drop then, but not when I followed your steps. Can you help? Thank you :)

Hi, I am facing the problem of colour drop on your video 2.01. After i draw the line i can't fill up the colour. It will rather fill up the whole circle. Is that any solution for this kind of problem? Thanks.

Hey, did you close the shape you draw? You can turn of the clipping mask to see, if the shape is open, the colour will fill in the outside area.

@@orlando2275 your line has to connect to the beginning of the line you drew. So do not lift your pencil when finished drawing in the circle. You will draw under the circle to connect to the beginning of your line. I hope that makes sense!!

At 1:06, how did you get it to not go outside the circle onto the white? Mine looks really choppy and messy I can’t get it to look like yours where it’s crisp and clean around the edges. I keep having to pause and spend 10-15 min trying one thing over and over again. I kinda suck at this but I’m trying I want to get good with it

hey, you need to hold your Apple Pencil on the screen when you draw the circle, don’t lift it up

I had the same issue earlier but I realized I missed the part when she says to make sure you draw the mountain lines all the way to a close even though you can’t see the lines once you go out of the circle. Once you do a complete closed space< the fill in portion will only be that specific layer of mountains. Hopes this helps

You mention free brushes and a color palete but I don't see any links? I checked out the Instagram page hoping I'd find them there but I could only find palettes for other tutorials. I imported a screenshot to grab the colors but then I end up with way more than I need and I have to guess which colors you are using. Any help would be great. I love this tutorial. It was slightly too fast, but not as fast as a lot I've seen so it was fine. I end up pausing after each step anyway so that isn't really an issue. I always forget how to use clipping mask an alpha lock so this was a good refresh. Thank you!

Also, mentioning what percent you reduce to would be helpful for those of us using smaller screens. And I noticed that when you drew that first mountain you stayed within that middle blue area but you don't really mention how far up you go. Might be something to mention on other tutorials
