Love Tim Edey too. I thought he mostly played in DADGAD. I am starting to play more often in Drop-D anyway

Hi Nye, I've been playing guitar for years and just dropped on your channel. Learned something new today. Just subscribed and will try to catch up on some other posts. Great stuff.

Ah that's great ! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos. I also teach one on one lessons over Zoom if you'd like to go through anything in person :)

Hi Brian! Did you want examples of how to play tunes in drop D or just places where you could use those chords in context? Thanks for the good stream feedback! We really enjoyed it, hopefully Felix will be around for a few more episodes!

@@folkfriend How to use them in context. In the session last night you slip in little movements, sometimes just a single note, sometimes a chord. I have worked on your various chord scales and really like some of the nice sounds. I need experience of seeing how chords are put together to provide the lovely flow you have. So it is a general query really. 😁👍

Basically what I do is approach the next chord from a semitone either side, or run through the chord scale to connect chords together! I'll have more videos about chord fluidity tips very soon though :)

@@folkfriend That is very clear. I am starting to get my head around this! Cheers Nye, you are an excellent teacher.
