Thanks so much! Excellent instruction as usual. I took quarantine as an opportunity to finally make a committed effort to seriously learn guitar and my subscription to Pickin' Lessons has been worth every cent. I feel like I've made a lot of solid progress and the tunes are fantastic! Just the kind of music I'm interested in playing. Keep up the good work!

Really good. What are you main influences as guitar backing for Celtic trad? Mine is Micheál Ó Domhnaill, Nicolas Kemener, Matt Heaton, Daithaí Sproule and Paul Brady. Do you know by any chance an album of 2 guitar players, one flatpicking + one backing by any chance? @Pickin’ Lessons

No players in particular. I listen to all sorts and take inspiration from all styles, which moulds the way I approach it. Always open to new sounds and rhythmic variation to serve the melody & groove. Just come across an album - The Maid At The Well - Tony O'Rourke which has 2 guitar combo, but several other instruments through out the album. Check out Tony McManus kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmaWeYaHg7ucZtk, he's great!

@@pickinlessons Grant. I saw videos of Tony with Julia Toaspern. Awesome indeed. This is actually my favourite video of MacMannus. And that Julia is so fantastic 💖😻 I hope to meet them some day
