Just realized I said "Improved Synch Knot" rather than Improved Clynch Knot. Also my egg loop knot was not the best. I would highly recommend watching a tutorial on KZbin if you are looking for better knot instructions. Thank you for checking out my channel!!

Great video. So few address the basics. Coming from another part of the country and trying to learn how to fish for Salmon. This video has been extremely helpful.

Nice video. I appreciated the component items in their packages in the background. It displayed the bead sizes which was super helpful. Hope your salmon fishing is taking off.

Hey thank you! The numbers on the Columbia have exploded in the last few weeks. Went out twice last weekend with no luck, but I probably witnessed a total of 20 pulled in between boats and shore fisherman. They just reopened the Columbia river here in Oregon so we will be going back to plunking this weekend!! I'm feeling like it's going to happen soon!! Good luck to you

@@edwin6709 They just reopened the Columbia and the numbers are still pretty good. We are going to give it a shot this weekend too. I was thinking about making a trip up there eventually. I have read the steelhead fishing up on the Olympic Peninsula is primo. You do any steelhead fishing?

thank for your video....What is the brand of the splitter set up?
@freshwaterfishingsyndicate74562 жыл бұрын
The splitters I used for this setup are Oregon Tackle. I got them at Sportsman's Warehouse. You can also check out their website www.oregontackleinc.com

A uni knot is easier to tie and just as strong in lighter mono. It also won't slip like a blood knot. IMO. Great video and channel name.

Is this kind of like a drop shot for bass fishing?
@jilloster47032 жыл бұрын
Lots of people will actually use up to 3 spin & glows on 1 pole to better the odds
@jilloster47032 жыл бұрын
Also it's really hard to cast these spin & glow setups so I would strongly suggest investing in a kayak to help get your setup out where you want it to be without getting all tangled. Doesn't have to be an expensive one, just one to drop it out easily.
