Hi there...just wanted to say, what a truly helpful video. My benchwork is similar in shape, but a little smaller (11.5ft x5.5ft). The original design will need modification as I would like to have a 2.5 level helix, allowing the most base surface to act as multi shadow yards for storage, whilst the upper level will be the sceneried layout proper. Just hope that I can fit it all in in practice. Just getting back into the hobby after some 35 years, and also getting my head around DCC lol. Your advice and footage are extremely useful. Iv still not gotten round to doing a layout.iv all the stuff and scratch build building etc but never got round to an actual layout of what I wanted.i like the process of weathering my locomotives and rolling stock and sometimes I run a train on an oval on the dining table.so ill enjoy this.

Reopening of the Closed Railway lines would cut down on 1) Traffic Jams, 2) Car Accidents/Road Deaths & 3) Pollution 24 hour trains in summer & St Stephen's Day trains should be looked at.
