18:35 this is also the easiest way to line up a step ladder to the entrance; build it from the inside and use the "link" icon to know it's set to the right place.

13:18 without the blueprint screen, you can't decode chips for new schematics. I'd say it's the most important one, as the others are merely informational and not strictly necessary for play.

True, I went back and re-watched it and I agree. They are inexpensive so really not much of an issue to make all 3.

Thanks for you comment. It has been a while since I played but yes you could. Being that there is no radius things need to be near one another to get the perks. You can build things anywhere in the world and still get the benefits.

Wow, I never knew there was aluminum in the iridium cave! It's such a useful resource, I was always running around to the shipwrecks trying to find it there, but I guess I should've just looked a bit more closely at the cave 😂 I'll remember that when I buy the full game, or if I play through the demo/prologue again

It is something they had added sometime during the Demo. I know I used to have to run to the Aluminum all the time to get it at the start of the game.

Thank you!! This is exactly what I needed! I have been watching someone play this, but they didn't explain controls or anything else. Since this is just a prologue there is very little information to start with and I rarely play on a keyboard when gaming. You have answered all of my questions and given me some great building location ideas. I'm going to have to think outside the box for my terraforming project! Thank you again! I agree with rarely using keyboard, I much prefer controller because using the mouse makes my wrist sore after a while. Do you know if they have controller support in the full version of the game? It didn't work in the demo I played but I'm hoping they added it in the new version.

@@DuckInGameStop I downloaded the new "Prologue" version and tried it with controller but no luck. Hopefully, the full version will be controller friendly. I find that games like this one and House Flipper that have static backgrounds with no extra loading get my computer really hot! The WASD keys get uncomfortably hot after an hour! I guess that because everything in the games are all there at once. (I don't know how to explain it in computer lingo!) I can pllay Fallout 4, Oblivion, or SkyRim with no problems. I've got an expensive gaming computer so it shouldn't really do that, but it has from day one! Oh well, I can live with it.

There are some things that are not obvious right from the start...I did the same thing when I was playing. Made a few items and just carried them around in my backpack before I realized....oh...these go over here!

You can harvest resources that are underwater but only if you are underwater as well

I found that out after making this one. 👍 Something they should work on because there are some that you cannot harvest because you can't get underwater. This has happened a few times when the Uranium meteors hit with in the lake,

Jan 15th Miju Games dropped the last update before EA, if you run a new series i highly recommend a new save , many changes happened to game beginning tutorial and more

Early game food is in the little Silver Pouches that you can find in the blue and gold chests out in the wastelands. Once you unlock the food growers....seed can also be found in those blue chests...but search inside the wrecked ships

@MarcD452 try to find the blue chests laying around. They can be found outside but best bet is make a flashlight and explore the inside of the wrecked spaceships. Bring extra oxygen with you

I have just started playing this and am trying to find a building guide. I have used the link icon from inside to place another pod to extend but I am building up. It placed, I heard, I heard it click but it didnt open it up so-to-speak. Do I need to put a door there? How does builiding on op of each pod work and with doors, ladders and entrances? I really dont want to waste resouces messing around without knowing what Im doing. I dont see the resources re-spawning?..where the heck is a good guide where I will find these answer? lol

Building up you need to place a ladder inside the lower pod to connect to the upper pod. The stairs can work to get up as well but you would need another door and it does use up more resources. I may need to start playing again and make a basic "Builder's How-to" 🤔

@@MagicFlyinPotato thank you, but that didnt work for me. Ive placed the pod on top of another one, then placed the ladder in the bottom one,. I can climb it but the roof is still in the way. I dont get it lol I got it, first time for some odd reason the ladder was only a small one, didnt go to the roof. Second attempt it went thru the roof of the top pod! A little buggy lol but 4th attempt it placed and worked, thank you. Wow, Im loving this game, just found it today since Grounded is glitching so badly like a few Im taking a break till they fix it because game play is just crazily complicated while its glitching and lagging so badly and wow I have found this and cant stop lol. I love how when you do remove an item you get what you put into it back! Doesnt make all that initial hard work a waste of resources. I love that you get it back because then you can also sort of physically relocate at very little cost. Instead of dragging things to the new place , its demolished and items are returned to you, love it!

Mouse sensitivity is set to like 3% by default. Go into options and change it to about 20-25%.

Currently there is not a screenshot button. If you hit F2 it will remove your HUD and you can hit your Windows+PrtSc key to take a screenshot.

Where exactly does it flood? Im up by the falling sand cave building outside it and Im getting a message Warning: Flood level critical??? Im sure it does NOT flood up here! ... Update and I feel so STUPID. I read it wrong, its saying FOOD level critical 😂🤣😂

I cringe every time someone uses "silicone" instead of "silicon" to refer to the mineral. Otherwise, thumbs up. Edit: pK is picoKelvin. Edit 2: The only problem with the "heating outpost" is that you either have to run back to the main base with the iridium ore to convert it to iridium rods when you get to T3 heaters, or build a T3 crating station (aka: advanced crafting station) to make the iridium rods.

I was just going to make the station over at the Heater Outpost for the time. This way it's a one and done area. Things will probably change up as they update the game but this was just a suggestion. No right or wrong way to Terraform one's planet 👍
