Theres another one at the top of the sand falls, you have to use a jetpack to climb up to it, its just right of the middle, there is a gap in the rocks thats pretty wide and its right in front of you as soon as you clear the sand

Just knowing the easy location of 2 of these made a huge difference in my early game - that 1200 ox boost when you're racing for time to food growers. There is now a 12th on top of the waterfall trail (plus a goody for those who go way up top where you shouldn't be able to get lol)

Missed one. First one I found. Go to the sand falls and while looking up at the ridge of the falls, go between the 2nd and 3rd rock on the right. Closer to the second. At the top of the fall you find # 12 Edit: Correction. Its right between the two rocks at another rock formation that comes into view as you get closer between 2 and 3rd rock. Top of the ridge.

BTW the 12th chest is hidden in the front of the other ship. Opposite of the side that you can get into. To get to it got to the very front and drop under the gap and you'll find the last gold chest. Hope you find it!

The demo version didn't have fall damage which was up to the 9th chest. With the game's release into early access fall damage has become a thing. I imagine that's why he said there is no fall damage during the grand canyon portion.

Just a little advice: the contents' quality in the loot chests is proportional to the terraforming level you are on. Wait until you progress to GTis before looting those chests. It's worth the wait.

The Golden Chests are static according to Brice (the Dev) it's the Blue Chests that change!

been playing this game for a while now, just stumbled across this, you might want to check for recording issues when capturing your gameplay.... there has been moments of artifacting, one example, is when you show where chest #5 is, left side of the screen was flashing

Found another Golden Chest near the large waterfall, head north, up a slope to the top of a large flat plateau against the canyon wall, its along the southern edge.

i do the thing with the living compartments too but i leave them there and colltect enough resources for the next one so you got some waypoints and well oxygen for trips betwen spaceships and your base

Can the Golden chests despawn or not spawn at all? I have 4 statues and 4 golden seeds, I'm currently just over 60 GTi, and even after a couple hours searching with this guide, there are no golden chests at the locations in the video. I even paused the video from each chest while searching and still came up empty. So is it possible my game bugged or glitched and did not spawn in all 11 chests?

@@CptJamesForce I continued the Prologue/Demo, whichever version was free. Played it a few days ago after seeing one of the youtuber's I'm subbed to do a video on it. Tried out the free version for like a day, or however long it took me to reach the end of it, and decided to buy it. Continued the save and am sitting on just over 225 GTi now. Some of the chests have finally spawned in that had not spawned previously, but still missing 3 I think that hasn't shown up yet.

I've been to each of these locations but only have ten golden statues (missing one of the rockets) and ten golden seeds. The chests won't respawn neither will items. However you have the Ore Extractor for getting materials and Meteor Storms will drop new materials in as well!
