Idk what other people be doing when it comes to press ons but mine don’t come off as long as I prep right and don’t put my hands in water at least an hour so you give the glue time to really dry and you’ll know when it’s really dry cause the press ons are gonna feel tight on your nails and when that happens my nails don’t ever pop off and I get about 3 weeks out of them before I’m ready to take them off and I have to still take my time and take them off so if you put them on right press ons should last but I like gel x too again you have to prep properly otherwise they won’t last either prepping is the most important thing, I enjoy doing my own nails so I’m always looking for tips and tricks on how to make the nails last and the easiest/fastest way to do them

I just started doing gel nails and I need help!😭 the main thing I’ve been struggling with lately is color transfer to my top coat, Is that normal ? I know the color gel top layer is sticky but for me it seems like it transfers too much color onto the brush when I try to put on the top coat. Is this normal ? Any tips?

Hey! Thank you for asking! This is most likely happening because you did not cure the color for enough time. Every polish has a certain amount of time that needs to cure, so definitely check the bottle and see if it says. Try curing the color for 2 or more minutes. The problem could also be the UV light so you could try getting a new one. Hope this helps!

That is not what causes your nails to be brittle and break Arylic is the strongest enhancement that you can have, Damage comes from a Nail technician who is either not properly trained or are still learning but if your nails are damaged it's due to human error or incorrect use of the products

This can definitely cause a lot more damage, I agree. However, in general your nails will have to be buffed prior to application and that can weaken the nail beds and over filing can occur during removal even if it’s just a little bit by accident it weakens the nail. Gel x specifically is easier to remove and I find that my nails aren’t as damaged when removed properly but it may be different for everyone❤.
