I started playing this Gem of a game back on IjjI. Years of me learning all the styles… Years of me having the best time sweating and making friends. Since my C treatment back in HS… haven’t touched the game until this January. But even muscle memory. I still can’t even relearn some of the basic styles in PvP. I wish I could just join a random lobby and not be chastised till I quit. I tired making most of the important keys. In doing styles closer together since my hands are pretty small and hard to reach the 1,2,3 keys. Just been doing solo Questing. Still in my eyes GunZ has been and will still remain my favorite game of all time.

GunZ is the best ❤️ what server have you been playing on? Some of the more casual modes like deathmatch can be a fun way to play without catching too much toxicity. Also, lots of players now use buttons on their mouse for guns/sword which might help if you've got smaller hands!

@GunZAcademy downloaded it last week from a website (Gunzduels) But I went with Mirror 1 (idk what mirrors mean) and still have my lev69 character, but all i know is there’s only one regional server with about 45 active players) Thanks for the keyboard suggestion I’ll try it out again see if it helps. Been practicing pretty much on quests Page25’s. I do have freestyle GunZ also installed so I flux between both games. Is there a better website or download page that has a lot more player base?

@GunZAcademy and I’ve joined either matches about to start or in progress and I’m pretty polite and ask the others if I can participate in matches. I have a average mouse that has 2 side buttons (I use those also for L4D2 crouch, flashlight, and slow walk)

This is what's called a private server it's not an official game owned by a real studio so when you download it your PC warns you because it doesnt recognize it as a trusted source if you ignore it and download anyway nothing bad will happen

Shotguns are by far the most "meta" and versatile weapons, but use whatever you want! Revolvers are probably the second most viable weapons.

As far as I know, all of the outfits download when you install the game. The game file size for fxp gunz is a little under 5 gigabytes.

The scary pop-up warning happens because the game isn't recognized by Microsoft, called an "unsigned" program. Microsoft is essentially warning you that it doesn't recognize the program, meaning it COULD be malicious. FGunZ is safe to play on, but as with all private servers play at your own risk.

Getting currency and levelling is done by playing the game and getting kills (or questing!) As for why you can't find free equipment, might you be on a different server? There are a couple of different GunZ private servers and they have slight differences in how items are handled.

Animations look different, is the main one. The male model is visibly larger but has the same size hitbox, just harder to hide behind boxes/see around. There are some *extremely technical* differences between male and female but those are not the reason most people end up picking a female character.

It is visually smaller (same size hitbox but less screen clutter), so it is easier to hide behind boxes, easier to see around for aiming at opponents, and this last part is subjective but I think the animations the female model uses make learning kstyle easier.

Good question! There are three main reasons, one of which is a little 'subjective'. 1: The model is visually smaller so it is easier to aim because you can see more "around" your character. 2: It is easier to hide around corners/behind boxes as a female character model due to it being visually smaller, as well. 3 (subjective): The animations seem easier to distinguish on the female model so a new player can tell if they are doing moves the right way more easily. A common misconception is that the male/female hitboxes are different, but that is NOT true.
