Yay! I would love to do some ink reviews - I was hoping I'd get some feedback there 😃 Any inks you're especially curious about?

@@BlackletterFoundry are there pearlescent or metallic inks that work well in the pilot pens? Or which inks work better on different tones of paper. Do those inks have "particle size" issues?

I really would like to know more about your angled writing desk. I’m trying really hard to maintain my posture, but it’s hard. I don’t have a space for a dedicated table, so I’d love suggestions for something to sit on the table I have.

Great intro video man! Will definitely point people here if they ask about blackletter! A note on paper, I haven’t tried the marker paper yet, but makes sense why it would work well. I’ve never understood why so many people say to use printer paper though. It always bleeds and feathers for me, and especially using the larger pilot parallel pens. I get that it’s cheap and easily accessible, but you’re maybe the first person I’ve seen in an intro video to say get specific paper. Calligrapproved paper or bust! Keep it up!

Thanks so much for your kind words and support! I really appreciate it! Yes - I totally agree, I think using a good paper is one of the easiest things to miss, but it makes such a huge difference. Especially as you mentioned with the parallel pens which can put a lot of ink onto a page. In classes, I've had students get so excited when they discover how much influence the paper has on making lines and how their work looks (even showing off different ink properties), so I always try to mention this point and that the paper doesn't have to be super fancy or expensive. I definitely get excited talking about this stuff 😂 Thanks so much again for your feedback!

Which kind of ink ,do we wanna use..sir

I like the cartridge inks that come with the pens - just keep in mind that they aren't lightfast. Other alternatives include fountain pen inks or watercolor inks which also work well with these pens 😃
