Most of the job descriptions for business analysts nowadays ask for some familiarity with SQL (Structured Query Language). This is because most modern organizations store data in a data warehouse and those of us who need to analyze this data will need to access it ourselves.
As functional business analysts, the ability to write and interpret SQL queries can greatly increase your effectiveness as a BA.

Insert Into doesn't require the repetition of fields names, you can simply mention just values in sequential order of field names and make them bracketed

Thank you so much ma'am for being so genuine and taking your time to teach SQL in this way for beginners in BA. I am a background in IT, but was in dilemma after many years of gap in my career and no experience in IT, returning back to the area, should i take testing or BA. I don't like coding at all but am ok with SQL and like communicating with people. SO thought of going for this. Could you guide me in the journey to gain knowledge in this path to Business Analysis. great efforts in this channel. I have only simple enquiry as a new sql learner. I haven't made my mind yet whether to use sql server or not. Is sql server the best solution available for those who want to manage and automate databases inside a medium size company. Is there any alternative i need to consider right from the beginning or any applications that is relevant to integrate with the database being used.
