Would this work with non stretch fabric? I assume I'd need to lengthen the neck band as it wont stretch but is there anything else to consider?

Definitely will not work with non-stretch fabric. It needs to be able to stretch to get over your head.

thank you for this tutorial, just wondering will the pattern work on a4 paper as i noticed you use US letter size and we don’t have that paper in the UK. help would be greatly appreciated from anyone thank you

As long as you can see the dashed lined border around each page at 100% scale when you print it will work fine. The actual pattern area is a bit smaller than the paper to make sure nothing gets cut off.
