What a fantastic and very realistic, honest review. These can be great guitars. I had one of their Tele types for a few years that I taught loads of lessons with and recorded with. I modded it and did a wee bit of work, but I've done that with guitars many times the price.

Thank you so much for this comment. This is exactly what I like focusing on as a subject. Not all guitars come setup for a lifetime. Many in their lifetime require adjustments. Often a new guitar will require adjustments to personal taste and feel. Most guitars share the same inherent challenges merely to be operational regardless of the price or class status. I do find it amusing and sometimes unfair that many correlate price to quality. True, I have guitars that have required little to no adjustments or changes made to them. As you mentioned most guitars will require a connection to maintenance and chosen view of nurturing the instrument to how you want it to represent itself in your hands. Even name brand and higher priced guitars NEED fixing, and tuning or looked at by a Luthier. BUT anyone can do the job if you know how or willing to learn some new tricks on setting up your guitar properly. Something that ALL musicians should know. Hey man, even my Fenders and EVH-Wolfgang Special were not perfectly made !! THAT Harley Benton is a good looking guitar to play or even mod with great stuff. Thank You for your review. My condolences for your loss. It happened to me recently too :( ANY Dog or cat is always part of the family too.

Thanks so much for watching. Regarding this particular guitar Becca, I’ve chosen as an experimental platform doing a many things for the first time. I forgot to mention I experimented with three different spring manufacturers including mixing springs, using two, three and five. Currently Becca, is on Five springs forcing a hardtail configuration whereas all my ST bridges are set as floaters. Thank you for questioning and pointing that out. 👍🏼
