As someone who just yesterday picked up a crochet hook for the first time in my life, this video is incredibly basic and helpful, and gives me full confidence that I can do this. Just finished up a pair of fingerless mittens. I love this hobby! Can't wait to learn how to knit...

I just made this blanket for a friend having a baby around Christmas using red and green instead of grey and green. I’m very happy with how it turned out. The video and instructions were so clear for a very beginner. Thank you!!

Love your method of explaining these beginner stitches, changing colors and how you hold your hook and yarn and why! This video was awesome, learned so much! Thank you.

I couldn’t find a textured pattern so I did a row of double crochet and a row of half double in the back loop only last week. Alternated each row and Just kinda winged my stripe pattern and I am in love with it! I used Navy, white and peach. Made an infinity scarf to match. Thinking about doing a hat also lol. Thanks for this one. Definitely going to do it next.

I LOVE the colors used here, and the textured but soft stitch pattern! Thank you so much for another very pretty and useful pattern! I have your page favorited in my Facebook feed, but like to have all my fav'd patterns searchable on Ravelry. You do not use Ravelry? Any chance of uploading these to Ravelry in the future? Thank you, and happy crocheting!

I absolutely love this design. I am in the process of making this as a x-large throw for my soon to be daughter-in-law. I am going to put a border around it using the dark color. What design of a easy border would you suggest using. I will be making this again. It is beautiful.

Hi, how many chain stitches did you start with for a regular size blanket (not baby blanket)? I love this pattern but I need to make a blanket for my adult son.

Tiffany it seems like the amount of yarn for this baby blanket is off. 256 yds. x 14 skeins is 3,584 yards. Is this correct for a 30 x 40” blanket?

I love this stitch pattern so much. I have made so many blankets using it. Is there a name for it? I keep calling it the crumpled griddle stitch with a twist 😂

I love this stitch! However I’m a little bit confused…on Nicolina’s blanket the little “blocks” are all aligned. However when I work it up, they are offset. Any suggestions? 💐

This was such a great tutorial!! If I bought yarn that only shows knitting needle sizes, and no crochet, does that mean my yarn is not suitable for a crochet project?? Thank you!

Most yarn shows knitting needles but you can still use it to crochet with .

Hi, I’m making this blanket for my daughter. I’m using 140 for my foundation chain with Bernet baby yarn. I notice sometime my last stitch is a half double instead of a single stitch. Can I make the last two stitches singles and then turn my work? Would it my a different? I tried to fine my mistake but I have to many stitches and the yard is so thick

I'm in the same boat with the same yarn. What did you end up doing?

Someone answer please… do you mean into the back look? When you say “on top” of stitch?
@TheWovenSoul Жыл бұрын
No. When starting the first row, the back loop will be the little 'bump' at the back of the chain.

Hi, it looks like your daughter repeated the pattern 3 times (within the blanket), but the written pattern on your website shows it only repeated 2 times. I'm trying to size this up for an adult size blanket and I'm not sure if your finished size 30"x40" is based on the pattern repeating 3 times or 2 times. Can you clarify? I want to end with roughly a 50"x65" blanket, so I was going to chain 174 and do 203 rows. This is based on scaling up your pattern 65%, assuming your pattern is repeated 3 times, not 2 times like on your website. Thanks!

Can anyone suggest a yarn that’s chunky and soft besides bernat blanket to make this striped blanket with??? Red heart super soft is too thin a yarn for me. Please anyone have any suggestions?
@PolyBiBadger4 ай бұрын
Lion Brand Yarn and Craft by Catherine have some soft ones that are around the same thickness as the Bernat but they also have smaller ones that are still soft
