This is the traditional feather stitch. It's one of my favorite stitches! If you do 2 rows of one color and 2 rows of a different color, you can see the outline of the feather. The feathers look so pretty. I have used this stitch several times, and it always looks beautiful. I hope your subscribers and joiners enjoy this stitch as much as I do. Great tutorial as usual. 👍

So, when you turn your work at the end of a row, the stitch appears on the front in one row and on the back in the next. When you've finished your project, work the "last row".

I love these tutorials, they are so easy to watch and do. Very well explained. It’s a great way to learn.. My go to is knitting, but I have started crocheting more now. I'd recommend chaining until you reach the desired length for the bed, measuring as you go. As for the yarn, you'll get a better idea as you work. Keep an eye on how much yarn you're using per section, and you can estimate from there.
