Who better to tell you how to livescope Grenada Lake than 2 guides who spend literally every day out there on the water? These guys not only get to learn from using it themselves but they have to be able to help clients catch fish with it and so there isn't much these guys haven't seen. You guys should learn a lot from this one, hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!

I love hearing them talk about the 4lb crappie and the last tournament on Grenada there was several over 4lb caught 😆 love how Livescope keeps showing us that we think we know what we are talking about but we are still clueless but as a whole we have gotten so much better! And you guys at the crappie connection are shedding light on it! Love these interviews!

I was with Carlos in early May for 3 days. I learned more in those 3 days than I have in 6 months of you tube. I did have a Livescope on my boat before I left Mississippi. Still learning.

Great show, it's awesome to pick apart the brains of these Grenada guides! I'm from Grenada and starting a guide service myself (Cooler Full Guide Service) - I look up to these guys tremendously (Carlos, Patrick, TJ, etc.) Great group of folks and they are professional on a social/personal level in addition to being professional fisherman. I appreciate all their conservation efforts.

Great Podcast!! I’m in the process of setting my boat up to crappie fish and don’t want to drill unnecessary holes mounting equipment so I would like to see y’all do a podcast about a basic boat set up to start crappie fishing from a local club tournament to weekend fishing. I would like to hear y’all give advice on how to mount rod holders for spider rigging, long lining, talk about basic electronics and where to mount, talk about the best size trolling motors, best battery set ups for equipment and trolling motor, boat seats and even go over the basic livescope set ups to start out with......etc I really enjoy all your podcasts they are loaded with great information. Thanks!!

I live this PodCast especially being from Mississippi. I'm guilty of having more than I needed in the freezer. I apologized last year publically for it when I cleaned my freezer & felt like trash..😪😪😫 But seriously I eat over 30 Crappie per month easy. Great Pod Cast never hear of any of you guys now I'm searching ya..😄🤘

I saw TJ at Grenada last week when the most anyone else I talked to that day had was 8 crappie. Tj was in the parking lot at 1:30 with his customers with 19 crappie over 2 pounds largest was 2 3/4 lbs. Nice enough guy to chat a second and show me their catch...I'm booking for next year.

Update: Fished with TJ, two days ago on our guided trip. Told him at the start that I wasn't there for 15 crappie, I'm here for one fish, but I'm mainly here to learn how to catch these BIG Grenada crappie. TJ underwood the assignment, and less than two minutes into the trip, I had a 2.91 [pb] on the carpet. TJ had to deal with a cold front,12+ mph winds,white capping waves,pressured fish the day after a 180 boat tournament & a week of prefishing pressure, and dealing with 2 guys who had never livescoped on that level and we still caught 5 crappie, over 2lbs each. I handed him the rod at one point and told him that he had 2 minutes to fish starting now,...lol ...I was gonna give him longer, but he didn't need it, because he caught a 14 incher,in just under 2 minutes. Great trip,great livescope instructor,great experience, awesome gude. Thank you TJ, & River Dog -TALL PAUL

I know alot of people like the livescope. I will never use one. I feel it takes the sport out of fishing. I compare it to high fence hunting. Just my opinion. But to each his own....

Just want to mention i only fish 2-3months a year, i put over 400 crappie a yr in the freezer during march and april and it last me until the following year. No freezer burn no waste. So i dont agree on your not having fish in freezer gossip...you all out there running around with a life scope and want to judge what others are catching and eating? lmfao!

Technology is wrong for fishing! This is cheating in my opinion.
@mikedressel3270
@mikedressel3270 3 жыл бұрын
This technology can ruin our lakes of sports fishing, too many of you are great anglers already with your knowledge of fish and their habits and this scares me that lakes will be fished out in certain species.

@@mikedressel3270 if u fish a lake and keep legal limits u will never fish a lake out only thing it may hurt is the population of big fish and I'm not saying they will take all the big fish but it will make the big fish harder to catch for the average fisherman in my opinion that don't have LS

Mother nature wont allow lakes to be fished out of crappie rain high winds high water low water etc etc

I think that lives cope is an abomination to the fishing world and should be illegal because it allows no talent fishermen to rape the lake and there will not be any fish left. Not to mention it takes the mystery out of fishing
