Keep in mind your distance from the enemy if you decide to do Primary > Shuriken > Shuriken > Primary. If you recall your shuriken too quickly and you're too far away, it won't hit at all unless you wait slightly, in which case it would be better to do the standard BnB anyway. Alternatively, you can also do Primary > Shuriken > Dash, which is the fastest way to kill 250hp heroes at close range. Bonus tip when fighting 1v1 against an isolated opponent: use your invisibility if you need to reload. This gives you a lot of safety during your downtime, and time to reposition to catch them off guard. This is even more effective if you dash through your opponent then immediately go invisible, as you'll be virtually impossible to find. When picking fights, I like to start with either Shuriken combo to try and kill them straight away, then immediately dash and go invisible; reload and finish them off once they've lost where I am. Works 99% of the time in the isolated 1v1.

@@thatdorkyshow1059 No she's not, Namor is. Hela and Namor are the most played DPS characteres, hell in tournaments I see Storm played more than. Her ult is really buggy and will sometimes just stay in the center and hit nobody, or you'll kill someone 30 feet outside of your zone.

"Instant kill combo" can be picked at as well. It doesn't kill instantly, it just has a short ttk so that is "incorrect terminology". Surely it doesn't matter though? You say instant kill combo, and I understand that for exactly what you mean. If you have a community using "one shot" to be any combo that has an extremely low ttk and is consistent to pull off, as long as it is understood, why are you opposed to the phrase so much?

Seen "one shot" be used on so many videos for games like OW or Smite, and not once has there ever been a common comment being "omg its not a one shot its a combo" etc. Maybe Rivals is bringing in a lot of people who usually play different genres and are used to different terminologies. Just kinda baffled me to see so many people so caught up on it lol.

One shot usually means near instant. Anytime you get killed in like a fraction of a second, even if it took multiple abilities, that’s one shot imo.

Hawkeye can kill someone with one shot, but if he has to hit twice to kill you it’s not one shot. It’s pointless to call these one shot combos when every character in this game has combos to kill other players. It’s even more pointless when a lot of these “one shot” combos can be countered or evaded. It’s not really a one shot is it?

One thing I don’t get is some heroes without super strength powers have weapons like Psylocke and Deadpool. Gambit has a staff and Wolverine claws but Cyclops can only shoot but is good at martial arts. Should he not train with some weapon also as a backup.

btw you can get up to 75 bonus health with her right click. if you right click an enemy to get the first 50 bonus health and then right click a different enemy for the recall, it adds another 25. i don’t see anyone talking about this tho. probably bc it’s rare and probably won’t happen in a real match unless you’re intentionally going for that extra 25
