A nifty little tip is that when a card has (Always) in it's condition (Like the SS3 Goku), if you put him on the field without activating the effect it can still activate when you get the symbols, just be sure to get a taunt card out there or they will probably target it before it can activate. Great tips! I didn't realize the Regular characters were a different target from SP, good to know for similiar effects.

I made a “strong heavy guard squad” 😂I relay on tanky low cost guard cards with high hp high attack cost cards. I try and defend n take as less damage as possible until I can draw my heavy hitters and end them lol. I had 2000 hp and beat somebody all the way from 30000 🔥he left 😭😭it’s strong but still needs a few good needed cards and of course luck of the draw lol. I lobe using the 10 cost great ape vegeta lol. Slap the piccolo guard on it and they can’t do anything unless they have an event card that can ko me 😂(it’s happened before 😭)

Also you don’t switch cards with your opponent to n the beginning. You switch them out with the ones in your deck

Love the card game, didn't expect much but its actually really fun, only problem for me is that I keep losing connection I'm half way in a game and I suddenly lose connection with my opponent and yet my wifi is apparently fine and it happens almost every game, this just me or is anyone else having the same problem?

Maybe it's the other person quitting. If not it's probably just the servers. I wasn't even able to play the game for the first 2-3 days,but I was just patient and it got fixed.

Anybody know tricks to get 4 star cards cause I’m level 15 and I have over 250 cards and I have yet to get any. I played a level 7 who literally had 5. It is just luck?

It's just luck yeah. Don't worry about pulling specific cards too much. The more you play the more card packs you'll get and eventually you'll start getting almost a hundred card pack tickets a month (total, for every day plus biweekly and monthly bonuses). When you get a few try to build your deck's synergy around 1 or 2 of them and don't worry about trying to fit a bunch of "powerful" cards together if they don't properly mesh. You can put up a decent fight against top tier meta decks with just some basic level 1 and 2 android 17 & 18 cards and some Cell Jrs. It shouldn't cost you more than 1,000 card points to make all of those if you don't already have them. There's lots of cheap and effective cards and combinations.

I disagree. Most builds benefit from going 2nd. Especially android builds that depend on you having 1 energy in the bank to draw 17/18. If I have an android build and have to go first, and the enemy has a Cell Jr. build, then on turn 1 I can't do anything, while on their turn 1 they can summon two cell jrs and a great saiyaman (getting their blue symbol reserve rolling once they can KO it)*. A Cell Jr. deck can end you on turn 3 if they go second, no joke. My Cell Jr. deck has two SP Kakarot cards and 3 Cell Jr cards; for 2 energy a piece I can deal 8,000 to 10,000 damage per turn and have cards that can deal up to 22,000 damage directly to the opponent's life points. Having 2 Parting Words lets you snipe down any opponent with less than 15,000 HP. *(Mind you I could play my android 17 on turn 1 but without energy in the bank I lose the opportunity to draw a card. Keeping a steady flow of cards being drawn beyond just the one you get every turn is important or you will run out and be powerless.)

The only time I'd prefer to go 1st is if I have a 1 cost Majin Buu that gives me 1 energy back, in the same build I have a 1 cost android 17 that draws an android 18. Then on turn 3 I can play that 18 (usually Show Me the Money for lots of energy) and start an insane chain.

Since you made this post new features have come out like Piercing and Negate Damage, and a level 5 Vegeta card that summons a level 10 Vegitto with 30,000 HP/ATK with the ability "rush" that lets him KO another card every time he KOs one card, recovers his HP to full and guards your leader's HP for a turn, then on your next turn breaks apart into set of Goku & Vegeta cards from your graveyard. In short, one could hypothetically erase an entire board full of guard characters with just 5 energy. :D One can even do so on turn 2 if they go 2nd.

I've been playing for 1 year and I haven't spent any money on platinum coins and I have every card in the game and top tier meta decks of all kinds. Really if you just keep playing a little bit every day or two, after a few months you'll start accumulating all of the "Titles" from ranked and tournament matches. The reason this is good is because once you have a title, every time you earn that title again you get a card pack. At the end of the month now I get about 50 card pack tickets from all of the titles I already own. That's not to mention the 5-10 packs you'll get every week or two. The only goals I have left are to get 3 of every card (I have 3 of all the top tier cards, just need the crappy niche legendaries), finish 500 tournament matches for the reward, maybe finish buying all of the playing mats from the store (already have all card sleeves; again this is just from login bonus platinum coins), and as a final goal I'd like to maybe totally dominate all the top players for a single season and take a nice screenshot. Then move on with my life. XD Sorry if I'm bragging, rather I'm telling you how easy it gets if you keep going. I play Steam version though so idk if anyone still plays PS version.

That's not bad. But would you believe me if I told you I got a 44-win streak, in one long day, on PC version a week ago? :D Trust me keep playing and you'll see that luck is just one factor of many. Strategy will statistically crush luck, and that's what counts. I don't mind some n00b getting a win off me, in fact I EXPECT them to otherwise they're not growing. It doesn't hurt my ego to have 1 loss out of dozens of battles, y'know? It's a game of statistics and chance but also strategy and resource management. Also a game of initiative and clever tricks; I can't tell you how many games I've won by destroying one of my own cards to initiate some other effect that causes a win condition. Or I'll infuse the enemy's card with enough power to KO a card of mine with a symbol I need. If you're familiar with football or soccer then it's a lot like moving a ball down a field. The ball is your damage momentum, and you're fighting to gain a few inches of damage faster than your opponent. Some plays allow you to stop the scrimmage for a minute and kick for a field goal. It's a lot like that. And it's not pay2win either. I haven't paid for any coins or cards, and I have viable top tier meta decks that most of you could build on your first day or week of playing.

I did a challenge in kakarot where i fought lvl 250 Beerus but i can only use kaioken or super saiyan 1 and i manage to beat him and trust me it was hard i died a couple of time but in the end i managed
