When we fix the siesmograph on the earth surface at different point and when waves travel from the point of earthquake then the wave should be straight and captured straight on seismohraph but waves seems deviated and captured deviated on the seismograph. It concluded that earth is not made up of single layer cause waves deviate when travel from one surface to another.

By looking into the earths interior and recording waves by seismograph we reach at the conclusion that body waves generated from the hypocentre or focus travel in earths interior through different layers of the interior as recording by the seismograph measure waves shaking the earth and wave does not record where it is have to but it records by different direction seismograph which means that earth interior does not have only one type of layers cause if it is then wave travels straightly from focus to epicentre but its not happen.
