Nice overview of the overall 3GPP TS Planning, Process Development and Standards. You always do a great job in summarizing and simplifying. I have a question, when you say 3GPP Produces these Technical Specifications, but they are "NOT" Standards. What do you mean by that? Can you please elaborate more on this? And those TS become "OFFICIAL" Standards, only after one of the participating SDOs/Operators transposes them. What does this mean? Can you please elaborate more on this too? Does it mean each of those SDOs can make them legal or official standards in their own territory's ? And who does that in US? Is that ATIS? And second question, where does GSMA fits in in these Wireless 5G and the overall process?

Thanks @RaviSutrave. Generally a company does not need to worry about the specifications/standards unless they submit the product for certification or approvals where you need to mention what standards does this follow. Each participating SDO simply takes the 3GPP specs and adds any covers/notices and makes them into standards. In USA and North America it's ATIS. GSMA is one of the MRPs (slide 9) and sometimes creates additional specs to support 3GPP specs like VoLTE/VoNR.
