I began learning code with the "Gordon West" tapes, where I first learned enough code to pass my General test.38 yrs ago. Now, I'm wanting to communicate with Morse code, so I started looking for a program to help me bring back my memory. While looking, I came across the same GW cd's I had originally learned with. Great, Right? I thought I would be able too jump right into the LICW classes like a breeze. Nope, When I joined a BC1 class, they were sending too fast for me to copy. Basically, I wasn't taught fast enough from the beginning. I have been working with your newly developed code practice program leaving the speed at 12WPM, and I'm catching up fairly fast for an old man. This is, in my opinion, the best of the best code learning software available today. I will rejoin the class in a week or so as soon as I catch up a little more. @@longislandcwclub I love Randy and Steve's Sideswiper class. And, also Anne's YL class. Thank you again for the video!!!!! I hope now that work is winding down a bit I can get to more classes. Ill be posting a video soon of my new Begali HST III and also Simplex Professional and how I run it in sideswiper.

Now I understand, I thought I would learn all the alphabet in Beginners 1, just like the old lessons! I do prefer the layout of the new lessons, the ICR at different speeds and the introduction of new letters, but now I understand that I will need to move to B2 eventually.
