actualy I think you did an exelent job of explaining for any beginning carver , the benifets and diffrences of carving on the cornner , the flat and the round . for some more experianced carvers it might seem like its over explained . But for the begimmer its just right and thats what this was all about . Great job Jordy , great carving . Keep up the teaching, its very much apreciated !

Your funny bro, your a grate teacher yeah don't ya know though, you have a way of disarming and breaking the ice, I just received my first 2 brand sankenvburrs today but my tool comes by the 14th, its a little bit of a cheapo but I'm hoping it's not too awful bad until I can get a better one, I only paid 19.99 for the one thats should be here by the 14th, dude I ain't been so excited to start actually doing this, I watch your tutorials and I'm addicted already, I stayed up all night watching your videos and polishing up on my drawing , and didn't go to bed till like 3 pm and ready to do it again 😊 thanks for what you do and making it so Much fun .

Hi Just came across your video and thought you may have a solution for me. I carve 1 × 12 pine and poplar. I just had a new problem to address. Carving a tree when due to shrinkage the branch cracked from the trunk and now I have air spaces where the branches separated from the tree... Is there a way to prep the wood so it doesn't shine and cause cracks/separations as my carving takes a 100+ hours to make a tree...

Tried to carve wood again and I stabbed myself in the leg. I was poking the outline with a knife when the dowel I was gouging rolled and stabbed myself into me leg I knew it was deep and I saw the knife pulsing as it stood alone in my leg , yup freaked out and pulled it out. Shoot shit dern piss that hurt.

hey i just got a new dremel 4000 with flexshaft and the same bit you are using, and it seems to overheat very quickly, slow down a bit and emit a burning smell- sometimes only after like 10-15 min of use, is this normal? thanks , great video btw

U can Chek the brushes, lightly sand them flat and ree instal them, If this does not work I would take the dremel back and get another

@@CarvingFusion yeah seems like the motor on unit itself starts to overheat and then emits a “burning” smell.. never seen it smoke or actually catch fire and burn
