Sarah your videos are WONDERFUL. Your attention to detail is A1. You give me the confidence to have a bash at these things. Even something as sophisticated as goldwork.

What an adorable project! And it's not intimidating at all for a beginning project. It's nice enough to hang on the wall and be proud of the first step into goldwork.

I have just started seeing your video's and just finished the one where Jonathan tried some goldwork. I used to do some embroidery over 50+ years ago and just started back a few months ago. I am a quilter do my interest has been mostly doing beadwork designs. Any advice for the beginner preparing to do beadwork? I live in the USA so I have been getting my supplies from various sources here locally. As for many, my eyesight is not what it used to be but I have just ordered new glasses and they should be here in a week or so.

Make sure you have really good light too Kristen, I would say sort this out first! We have videos on beadwork, have you checked those out yet?

Cutting leather and the metal string, doesn't damage your embroidery scissors?
