Thank you, still works. Was getting no map named namalsk error so I found this video and it fixed my issue. I was typing in the wrong mod command the entire time I believe. I had a slash in "-mod=@Namalsk Island;@Namalsk Survival" somewhere, removed it and now it works :) thanks!!!!

Love the tutorials keep em coming 😍 side note: "-profiles=config" its good practice to put the pathway in place after (=) like "-profiles=C:\SteamLibarary\steamapps\common\DayZSever\config" especially if you run multiple drives for storage and have DayZ on a different drive than server. Ran into it a while back ago with a issue that toke some figuring out. I also use to use same drive "C:" and "MyProfileFolder" before switching my server to "S:" drive and changing over to "config" to simplify adding to services like Nitrado since those services use "config" folder plus most mods will still create a "config" folder even with a different end name at the path. Bonus side note: if you create a short cut for the start bat you can right click and edit properties and change the batch icon to the DayZ icon. 🙃

What confused me, was: I saw the folder "extras" in the mod Namalsk Survival and suggested (that was my fault) I have to upload these files to my DayZ server as mission files. I wonder how I got by Namalsk server running (on Nitrado) about a year ago, due to I documented having to do so... Now, with your tutorial, I got it. Thanks again, Scalespeeder!!

the !Workshop folder was hidden for me, so had to make it visible first; just click the address bar and add "\!Workshop" without quotation marks, hit return/enter, then right click in the empty area of the window, select "properties" and uncheck the checkmark that says "hidden".

Thank u for making it a very easy task configuring a local server. This is my second time making a namalsk server with the help from ur guide, i would really like to improve my server by editing time and date the server is set, aswell as the enviroment n zombies, loot i wont edit. So i was hoping a server host would share some tips around server configuration, which month have the longest days or shortest, any suggestions on what additional parameters i could add that would improve gameplay, stability or ones that are very useful in general? Any input is appreciated

Question. I just installed Namalsk on my server with one issue. Tents & walls vanish in about 10 mins. I tried adding a flag pole but that vanished as well. The barrels are staying. Complete server wipe and clean install. Any idea? GTX PC server.

It's tricky to allow other players to access your local server, but yes, setting up an online server is similar.

Had the same error then found I did not add the "-" before Mod=Namalsk.. Its should look like this "-Mod=Namalsk Island; @....... " I hope it helps :-)

From what I remember, blizzards in Namalsk are controlled by the settings in init.c . I'm not sure you can trigger them yourself, but might be worth testing.

Downloaded BitterrootEXP map but nobody seems to be hosting it, so tried to set it up to work offline, but it seems there is no normal "folder structure" xml files etc unless compressed into a pbo somewhere but that's all beyond my abilities atm.

The regular setup has a very basic vehicle setup, all base building options, fast lifetime values, higher food and weapon/ammo availability and November temperature values. The hardcore setup has no vehicles, no base building options (except stashes and small tents), higher lifetime values, lower weapon/ammo availability and December temperature values.

seems like iti can't find the mission file but I have tried this in mpmissions and one level up in DayZServer route but makes no difference
