I have performance videos that I need to quickly sink to separate audio (wav) files. many software editors have an auto-sink function why is this not available from Corel?

Enable Audio while scrubbing in the settings tab > preferences. Split the audio from the clip. click and hold on the wave file, a counter will appear, move the clip left or right and you will see the counter number increase or decrease. I suggest moving 1 frame per time and play the clip see if its synced. If you had two audio for the same clip you can use the multi cam edit to sync the audio.

My 2022 version doesn't have any options for Dolby Digital Audio except stereo and if I choose DVD to render there is no option for 1080 x 1920 and it renders in stereo anyway, whatever I try.

Goto the sounder mixer icon on the toolbar (above main track, looks a note with waveform) and click on it. Just check that L/R isn't all the way to one side

Yes it should be no problem, I believe it compatible to the zoom H4-5 series which I use for my tutorials.

Select "Audio" in the render options, but make sure to mute all the video tracks. Personally I choose wav as the format option.

@@gripps2211 Thank you, sadly it was already on good. Was hoping to get it lower to get better performance with high resolution videos. It stutters alot with them sadly. If your wondering my pc specs is: CPU I7700K, GPU Nidia 1060 6 gig gtx, 16 gig ram AND ive given my pc 100 gig virtual memory because it kept out of memory since then im good tbh.

I am using Videostudio Ultimate 2022. I am trying to record my voice using the voice over function. The strange thing is that I can only record 1 minute of voice over. In the preview screen the voice recording beyond 1 minute is greyed out. Do you know how to fix this issue? Thanks!

that is odd never heard of this issue.

When rendered...there's an audio blip if you have a transition from one video clip to the next or with fading to black. Corel should fix that.

Honestly is getting hard , I use Envato but its a paid service. I use it quite a lot so for me its worth it. KZbin provides its own free music too and there are channels that also offer free music

Hey great as usual. I could do with your help if possible tried Corel got nowhere. I have Video studio x9 Ultimate and want to upgrade to Ultimate 2022. Will my projects I’m working on migrate over or will I lose them? I am working on a project and want to add some of the new features so want to finish it on Ultimate 2022. Hopefully this makes sense.

You can save your project using smart package. You can have both versions on your PC. I switch between 2020 and 22. You can also save your project, launch version 2022 then double click on VSP file, then import all your files into 2022

I had the Corel Video Studio X4 software a long time ago and I've just upgraded both computer and sofware and I thought things would work pretty much the same. I've been sifting through your videos (I'm sure they would be much more helpful to me once I figue out my huge problem that I need to deal with before I even think about using my time with CVS to advance my editing and other techniques). Maybe you already have a video out that I haven't found yet, but I am very troubled with burning a DVD. I can't do it! The DVD that I've been able to burn with this software so far is of terrible quality. Could you point me in the right direction to find help (other than to pay more money to upgrade or subscribe to the Studio Backlot)?

(I really mean no offense to you, but forgive me if my frustration feels aimed in your direction) Can I just say, for as technical and all the experience you have using this software, it seems odd to me that you don't have any ideas or tips on how to do something as simple as make a DVD. It is also strange that in the package I got with CVS, there is a “learn Corel Video Studio” application that has a video by a guy on this problem, he mentions he gets emails about the problem all the time, (can't seem to find his email address) but when you try to watch the video it stops and requires you put in your credit card number to buy a subscription to see the solution! It makes me feel like this software is just a money-hungry machine, sizing me up for how big of a sucker I am willing to become - just so I can give my family who I haven't been able to see for years due to this pandemic videos for Christmas. You seem very willing to share your expertise, and have obviously spent a great amount of time showing the world how great this software is, you convinced people like me that this product has value, But for what used to be a given feature, something you didn't have to even worry about in the old software to be such a huge difficulty with no free explanation, and your unwillingness to even address the issue makes it obvious that Corel has no other goal than to drain their customer's wallets, and your time and energy in this is all wasted.

@@skaaks4501 I did a tutorial 10 years ago on how to burn a DVD, the software back then had build in option. After, I have a contact person in Corel who i can ask for updating instructions to burn DVD, I assume you want for XMASS?

@@gripps2211 @@gripps2211 Thank you for the link. I have Corel Video Studio x4 on another computer. That is the exact process. How simple it was back then. The DVD picture quality wasn't terrible like it is with the CVS 2022. Now the process that is shown in that video isn't much different. The screen that first pops us when you hit the share tab is different, it asks you to choose what kind of file you want to make, like for playing on a computer, saving to a portable device uploading to KZbin, making a disc, creating a 3D video. Then if you choose disc, it asks the format you would like to use, with choices like DVD, AVCHD, Blu-ray, SD card,. The explanation for AVCHD says that it can make a better qualityvideo video that works on a standalone DVD player, but the one I burned did not work. On a computer it will read tke files and you can double click to watch them, but that is the onlw way to watch them. If you select DVD, you go through the same steps, as in your tutorial, but the final product is now really bad picture quality. I am making DVDs for my parents who enjoy popping the DVD in their DVD player and watching. Its really sad because I spent days editing tennis highlights using the very convenient multi-trim video feature and using subtitles to add scores. even in the preview mode the images are fine, but the image on the DVD is awful. I have been trying to contact people from corel all week but I haven't had any kind of help.

I don't see the point of this new Clip wav display as it wont audio scrub... TL scrub do "sound". And it display only the full original clip not part of. I hope VS2023 or 24 will make it a better tool and not just fensy shmensy
