If you just started your base building and it shows in green but you want to remove or tear down how do you do that in single player? I cannot find ACTION key anywhere. Holding the tab down does not bring up anything for base building. Tks

Hold F key on the element

After holding F you will see options to destroy but you will either need a sledge hammer or tool to break

I play single player why its still red? I try at different terrain but its always red

Did you build a flag first? If yes then I recommend when trying to place the blueprint press the F key and see what it says at the bottom left of your screen

@@jackycheung8398 Unfortunately there is no easy way to predict animal spawns. The best recommendation I have is to run around in focus mode till you see animals sign. Or you could go fishing.

It honestly looks to tiring and time consuming until you can find so much metal and wires to build such a base.

It all depends on how you want to play the game. For some people base building is not the best way and for others it is.

Shame, this is a FAIL. After watching your whole video, I STILL don't know how to place a piece. It just places the piece in one angle. How do I move the piece around so it can be in the direction I want it? You offer NO tips on how to place pieces. The very BASIC thing we new players need to know! So sorry dude. FAIL. What a waste of time.

Thank you for the feedback. To rotate blueprints you use the scroll wheel, and to flip blueprints you must place the blueprint then hold f on it and you will see an option to flip.

i tried to base build today and the uneven surfaces made it difficult. then tried to make a second level but it said structure was too weak. so i ended up with a non roofed halfass base

This game is technical AF. This will turn off a lot of players. I don't mind detail but there has a balance. I'm not trying to get degree in SCUM-ology.

Yes, SCUM is a very detailed survival game but that is what makes it unique and more of a challenge. I personally like the difficult and the skill/knowledge it takes to be good at the game. But I understand your prospective and I can see how it can be a lot to learn for new players which is why I create tutorial videos about the game.

I like difficult games too but damn thats just building not only that u need many parts also the game is so much rinning woukd get a car or bike but thats more running to every part​@MrGameHunterchannel

Base building sucks on this game if your on your own

@@releasedmike it can be a challenge as a solo player but most solo players live very low key and don’t build large bases.

@@MrGameHunterchannel yeah but even a flag requires a lot of stuff when you would think it would be a stick and a few rags nothing it close by so I find myself running around everywhere trying to find stuff getting week due to running out of steam a lot then dying to a puppet after getting decent stuff

Practice makes perfect fam. Took me a few hundred hours before I could survive alone and joined some squads that helped teach me the mechanics, where to find specific thing and the such and now I really enjoy soloing. I've never built a bade though but it looks tough. First thing you really want is a vehicle to help move logs and once you get a work bench looting cars to make nuts and bolts becomes less taxing. I play on a pve server just to get the ropes down
