In my opinion, this is the best carb cycling video out there! I followed this exact plan last year and saw some incredible results! I was peeled to the bone while still maintaining a good amount of muscle mass! Definitely bookmark this video for the times you need to carb cycle.

@f.f5146
@f.f5146 2 жыл бұрын
@@dannyyoung8061 Well, it’s not a lie bot. And a few days ago i was concidering to leave a comment below this old comment because I had some new updates (thanks for giving me the motivation to write this stuff…I never thought that someone will read this comment in 2022). By the way after loosing the weight after that experience, in a few month I gained weight again to 101kg (Due to the pressure at Uni,Coke-Cola, hamburgers and so on...). These days after around 70 days of work out (01/12/2021 - 04/02/2022) and healthy diet now at this moment I am at 88kg (Goal is 83kg). And this time before starting to lose weight I seriously read some scientific papers…Finally I realized that last time and this time I probably didn’t lose weight due to Carb Cycling but due to the energy gap which means: Intake 1800 cal while consume 1500 by exrecise with 2000 cal of basal metabolism, which in the end is (3500-1800=) 1700cal gap. To lose 1kg of body fat needs around 7000 cal of additional consume, which means one week a kg of lose. From the 30th day of this newest weight losing process, i even just quit the Carb cycling...But when my weight gets lower it gets harder to creat that energy gap. Carb Cycling and many other methods are not scientificly proven yet (There is evidence for Keto..but it seems like its not healthy). And low carb diet is not good for health either....In the end i realized that you can literaly lose weight with a normal diet as fast as using so called carb cycling which makes people feel bad during low cab days... It's up to you to dicede weather the comment is a bot or not...but the final resolt is positive...This time losing the weight i changed bread and rice into potatoes and red rice (because I read some papers on low IG food…but still trying to find out how this works)... It's hard for me to explain throug what i went during this last process in English...but yeah...the key is the energy gap..last time i tought i lost weight due to Carb cycling...but after some research...I think that this method just gave me opportunity to creat the gap, and in the end i tought that the result was related to Carb cycling, but it may just be the cause of the gap. If you want evidence leave your mail in the comment so that I can send you the screenshots of the data from my phone that I have been tracking by different applications.

Hopefully 1 year later isn’t too late, like many things your body will get used to the change and your metabolism will change, meaning you’ll have to either make a day a lower carb, add additional cardio, or a combination
@Dagoth_Ur_1
@Dagoth_Ur_1 19 күн бұрын
Crashing the metabolism is the biggest issue with keto or cutting carbs out, low calories, and endurance cardio over a few weeks, things often done when cutting. And for 3 weeks you'll lose water and then a decent amount of fat, but then there'll be no fat loss, only muscle loss there on. Carb cycling keeps the metabolism high and gives energy to weight train and sprint, which also keeps the metabolism high. Good video.

I've had carb cycling info for over a decade and I never did it. I was afraid to just do another fad diet. This is weird because I went on to do other fad diets. I am just over it all but I'm going to give this a try. I'm not extremely overweight. Only about 15-20 pounds from my goal and this last bit refuses to budge! I am an endomorph and if I didn't watch I could gain a lot of weight really quickly. Thankfully I have managed to keep at a healthy weight for several years now but I can never break that last plateau. I hope this works. Thanks for all the free info. You are amazing!

High carb days usually 3-4g per pound of bodyweight High carb days on weak body part day or leg days Low days on rest days and the rest are medium carb days

Very impressive presentation. It sounds like carb cycling is more for bodybuilders than it is for the average person. I’m looking around for other ways to drop weight than the traditional low carb program. I’m just about sixty now and my athletic training days for high level competition are long behind me. Basically I cut out all wheats and processed sugars. No cows milk but I do eat the cheese products. I just started biking an hour a day. Great hills to get the burn in the legs. I’ll eat proteins at every meal, vegetables and pick at berries and fruit throughout the day. Mixed nuts are also as snacks through the day. I’m getting my fiber, proteins, and a natural carb and not a lump of sugar. I’m thinking of trying a carb cycle but it looks like a lot of food. For the average person I don’t think this would work out well for them. It’s to disciplined. Basically for the average person stop eating processed foods. No wheat or processed sugars. Fruit is your sweet treat.

Just came across your excellent video as I was looking for information on a new way of eating that is new to me. However, as a woman nearing her 50s, I disagree with the end advice of dieting down traditionally and then start carb cycling. Most women at this stage usually cannot just "diet down" until after menopause. Personally, I am going to just start carb cycling because it will help my metabolism during the periomenopause phase I am in now. Besides, I'm not too entirely sure that most people would notice a difference in levels of crabbiness!! And if that's the only side effect... A video for women detailing carb cycling after age 40 would be beneficial. I will see if there are any out there, but yours again, was excellent, and I thank you for the info.

Medium and high carb days are the days I lift weights, basically every other day. Low days are 13-20 grams of carbs, medium days are 50-70 grams of carbs, and the high day is >100 grams of carbs. Low Medium Low Medium Low High I have lost 10 pounds in the last month and a half so far.

2 years ago I was 330lbs, changed to low carb and now I'm at 190, however for the past 3 months I've hit a wall and can't seem to drop any lower, looking forward to try this to see if I can drop some more and build up my muscle mass a bit.

I will say this...somehow I came across Remington James' content regarding carb cycling....I thought it was a gimmick. I was wrong. I was 202 lbs at 6' (not obese, but tall and skinny fat). I carb cycled for 1 month (Aug 2021), the only exercise I did was planks (daily) for the 1st 2 weeks and I got to a point I could do them for five minutes straight....oh and chin-ups at the office. Within a few days of the 1-month mark, I was down from 202 to 185 lbs. Yes, the first week sucked dealing with the cravings, and also omitting all soda and booze from my diet. After the first week, it got easier as I already knew the effects of the feeling of low carb days, and I'm pretty sure my body/metabolism adjusted. No joke....I felt like a well oiled machine every morning. People gave me crap...maybe because they didn't have the same will power, but I can honestly say that when other guys (or gals) tell you "Man, you're looking good"...it's an incredible boost to the 'ole self esteem. Try it, for yourself for one month...do it right, and you'll know exactly what I mean.

Accidentally carb cycled entire november and december. So many people have birthdays. I can only hide from society for three days weekly which, incidentally looks like those low carb days in your plan. Retained muscle mass? Yes. Body fat %? Up and down. Two steps forward one step back. Energy for my five day gym routine? Yes but i need a pre work out.

Thanks a lot! Learned and lot and great example of what to eat on the different days!! Just one newbie question, can a burger (meat and veggies fillings) with lettuce wraps happen on a low carb day ? Or no , coz this one item would exceed the daily intake ?

This is a great video bro. I've been 8 months strict ketogenic diet and feel like a change. Being in ketosis is amazing, feel great. But building muscle is slow, but it's quality lean muscle mass. But felt like a change, so I'm cycling carbs in to see if it ramps my metabolism up. Thanks for the great content!

I am just starting with a coach-end goal bikini competition. She has me on a carb cycling program (which I haven't started yet). I have been Keto. I am really nervous to do the carb cycling system because of the carbs/sugar. This really helped me understand the system and why body builders use it. In your opinion, because you have done both Keto and Carb Cycling....which would be better for someone wanting to lose body fat and gain muscle. I have about 10% body fat left to lose from my weight loss so far. (I was one of those people on a 800 calorie high protein diet previous to this (lost 60 lbs)...I am working out 5-6 times a week now (started last month) weights and cardio.
