stupid question, can i just add USDT to sollet wallet and from there to Raydium awebsite and get Raydium by using it?

Sorry for no reply. Did you work it out? You can add USDT from FTX. I am not aware of other exchanges that allow you to withdraw USDT on the Solana network. But, if you are in FTX, then you may as well just buy RAY. If you aren't, then it's annoying but you might have to just send Solana and convert some of that to RAY and then convert to USDT. If you do that, remember the price of SOL is volatile, so buy, and send and convert quickly to lock in a similar price to purchase price

im fairly new to it so have some questions just generally like, for example.. the FARMS RAY-USDT LP has an APY of 250%+ that APY seems to good to be true.. whats the catch? what are my risks in putting my RAY and USDT in there to get the 250% APY? please help

Now ray-sol is going down but sol is going up. Now if I farm ray-sol will I be losing money? do I get sol and ray or when I take profits do I only get ray. THanks!

If sol goes up in price, and ray goes down in price, you will be left with more raydium and less solana. So, as the interest is low, you may not want to have as much solana in that pool. Or, you may wish to harvest your raydium and convert back to Solana. No guarantees that you wont lose money. Raydium has performed really bad recently, but I still think they are a great project.

How come my PENDING REWARD in FUSION became much lower after I staked again without harvesting? The 0.66 I staked in STEP-USDC already reached past 1.0 in PENDING REWARD in a couple of days. I then staked again about an equivalent amount, making staked total about 1.3. Then my PENDING REWARD became 0.01. What happened?

Don't really have enough data, but I assume price changes in step, and a small misunderstanding from you. Also your pending reward may be 5 STEP. Once you pair that with USDC and inject it, the staked total (the farming total) could be whatever the protocol has coded. As an example right now in the STEP pool I can harvest 7 STEP. However, the amount of staked in the pool says 15. I actually have 139 STEP in the pool, the LP tokens are designed differently The best place to actually see how many are staked is step.finance Connect your wallet, scroll to the bottom and under yield farming take a look. Hover over the dollar amount of the STEP USDC pool and it will show you the amount of STEP and USDC in that pool. Remember, that ratio will change based on other people buying or selling

@@SebMontgomery I tried what you said re step.finance and I was able to see the actual dollar amount of my STEP-USDC pool that I couldn't see in Raydium. Thanks for that. I'm very new to LPs, staking, etc. That initial investment via sollet.io and raydium was my first experience. I don't know what phantom wallet is. Where can I learn about that? I want to know more about LPs and staking and what other passive income opportunities out there in the DEFI space. I have another question. If I harvest my rewards, will my my original stake still be preserved or does that come along with the harvest? I also noticed that the APY for the STEP-USDC LP in fusion has considerably gone down from 2k+% to about 800%. Why is that? The price of STEP has also gone down significantly for the past few weeks. Should I be worried?
