Im glade thia videi waa able to help. Since bosny are fixed colors, there are only limited workaround to get the gunmetal color. One that I discovered is using yanmar bronze

Thanks for Da shoutout.. Should have tried using gloss black or flat black. I would have it lightly misted. Thats what I usually do when I dont use airbrush using the mixing method.

I have use metallic black at the end which is almost the same as gloss black and I doubt using flat black would make any siginificant difference as metallic black is enough to represent the darkesrt undercoat. Of course, misting would definitely have a different result but that's a technique not only applicable for gunmetal, it is definitely a technique of Spray Can Painting itself 😂. Remember, this is only a.beginners guide video so that people would get an idea of the paint they needed to make the gunmetal effect using bosny spray paint ☺️☺️☺️

Can you dial down the gloss with a flat clear coat or does it ruine the finish like in your other metallic color tests?

Thanks. I would try to do of an experiment of a Bosny Black tint coated with an undercoat of Bosny Chrome, Silver or Aluminum Silver. The problem is, Bosny Black tint is super rare in my area. I would try to search it forst online

When doing gunmetal with bosny, you dont have to topcoat at the end but... In you want to go the extra mile in making the gunmetal look more shiny and protected, I suggest using bosny 190 clear (gloss topcoat).

Is yanmar bronze already a glossy finished paint?

So long as you have undercoat, yanmar bronze is already glossy with a bit of metallic sheen after painting

Yes po sir, naka design talaga ang bosny para sa vehicles. Para sa car wheels, I would suggest na lagyan nyo ng topcoat na bosny and sa tingin ko mas maganda ang primer grey and dark grey combination and and yanmar bronze and bosny clear

No problem sir, glad to help. But as a point to be noted, always test your paint first. Not necessaruly a plastic spoon but a material almost the same of the main object you are about to paint will do

Naku sir hindi pedeng walang yanmar bronze. Si yanmar bronze ang parang clear metallic silver na nagiging dahilan ng gunmetal effect. Pag simpleng clear lang ang ginamit mo (flat or gloss) hindi mo makukuha ung gunmetal at iba ang magiging resulta nun.

Yes sir, sa bosny paints, baka may iba pang paraan pero as per my experience, yan lang ang paraan para makagawa ng gunmetal looks. Actually, pede nga kahit black>yanmar bronze, magmumukha na rin syang gunmetal na mejo steel grey na rin ung kulay

I prefer laging gumamit muna ng primer baka ang basecoat specially kung kaha ng motor para di agad madali matanggal ung paint
