There's one part I'm confused on. It looks like you're starting your dash in mid-air and immediately going into a slide/crouch, but I can't dash in the air, and I need to wait for the entire animation before I can slide/crouch. Specifically after the uppercut, I can dash out of a grapple just fine. EDIT: I figured it out. It's the slide uppercut you can dash out of.

Really helpfull guide thx Treygo. I dont know What i’m doing wrong but when i’m on my second crouch slide uppercut, the opponent is not high enough to continue on the third uppercut. Do u have any tips ?

Well its not so much you need the controller based vids.... the biggest thing is having the input understanding.... W= Forward | S=Backward | Shift=Hold/Mid/Tap Dodge | Q =grapple | Left Click =Horizontal | Right Click = Vertical

I can't seem to ever dodge-cancel after an uppercut, what am I doing wrong? I do uppercut, but then can't do anything until I've fully landed and recovered. No matter what timing I try on my S + Hold Dodge, I can't cancel any recovery frames from the Uppercut itself.

Upgraded PC and bought same keyboard as yours. Now my FPS is 296, ping 60. Now it is started to work a little, the only thing that doesn't work is S+Shift after the impact from the hook to the body (not the hook to the ground, with ground works fine). Maybe I'm too high in the air. But on all heaven step videos including yours, it looks like height doesn't matter for you. You still can ez S+Shift right after impact. Anyway thanks for the video.

Im confused with the very beginning and something i see alot of katana combos start with and thats the horizontal into crouching horizontal. Idk if im crazy but i swear yours comes out way faster than mine and the animation looks like 2 standing horizontals back to back instead of standing horizontal into crouching horizontal.

I'm not doing crouching horizontal, I'm H (hold c, tap c) H this is called acca.... the reason it looks so fast is cause this is something I've done for thousands of hours,, it'll take time getting to muscle memory and timings down.

Do your talents matter? For example there is a talent that makes your dodge go farther quicker.

Stamina matters 100% it determines hoe many times you can dodge consecutively

Im not exactly sure what or why it is, but when i follow the steps 1:1 my body check seems to be a gamble whether the enemy lands behind me, gets not high enough, stays in place etc. So is basically not flying the way plus hight desired..any idea what i did wrong? It goes for both grapple midair or grapple ground.. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.. Ping: 35 - FPS: 125

sounds like your not cancelling your uppercut with grapple fast enough and you want to be grappling them slighting to where you hit them at either the feel or middle body since thats the lowest point for impact.... do not do it from the front

You do a dash almost continuously when finishing the upercut in the middle of the descent, it doesn't dash for me, I have to wait for it to hit the ground, or I can shorten the time for the upercut to hit... I don't understand

It looks like this doesn't work in my case, my fps 80, ping 67. Enemy always fall to the ground if I try S + shift + C + rmb 2nd time. It's like impossible, to start S+shift earlier in a frame to be faster. If I press S+shift earlier nothing happening I just fall to the ground with no shift happening. Then I checked sometimes the frame is right when I start still enemy falls to the ground anyway. Probably or my PC needs to be upgraded, or keyboard (but keyboard is good, still) or to select better Internet provider to get better ping. Or they fixed the game again.

You should have it. It's very distinct, only happens when you're in range of aim assist

I did it perfectly once, but after that every time i try to do heavenstep, my character doesn't dash after the second grapple, instead, i get the fall down animation (not the roll animation, but fall down).. i don't get it

Delay the grapple. if your character is above a certain height c turns into the downward drag rather than a crouch(double jump and tap crouch to see what I’m referring to)

bro im trying on console i can do every combo this can not be done on console. i hate this 50fps shit box that costed 400$ i cant even do grapple combos where u hit the guy in the air it will never connect. i have to do the ground one and i can grapple combo every try but it took months to be able to get the tiny ass window timing perfect every time

My character with 94 ms in the training room, gets to the ground faster. I noticed u hold S the whole time with no issues . In my case the character "walks" to the enemy in air after the uppercut if you hold S. No idea why he does that.

im holding S for my sliding uppercuts, this you should have no issue with on 94ms. you gain more height time on uppercuts, now for the heavenstep part, you need to be only grappling the ground
