If you deck the head you need to reset the valve timing as you have effectively lengthend the cam chain

Gasket matching; because the gasket manufacturer knows exactly how big your port needs to be for optimal power. That's where the experts are, that's where the knowledge is.

Got a question does your tbr7 have a hose running from the left side tank underneath the bike ? Mine does me it’s leaking gas. If anyone can help

The exhaust crush gasket idea is how I was thinking of doing it too...

Yeah it makes things a bit easier if your not sure how big you’d want the exhaust port I usually just lay one in there & mark the material I want removed with a paint pen…but leaving it all together works great as well!! Just need to make sure it’s crushed already or it’s gonna end up larger then needed causing a little unwanted turbulence but overall it can be a touch larger if it happens nothing to worry about!!!

I got a question.... 80grit small flap wheel...good idea or not to hone/blend not inlarge port... Dremel have them ...it's like a lil frisbee

So yeah I have sanding drums for my 1/4” die grinder as well as flap wheels I like them for the beginning blending to smooth out any rough patches before I work up to 120-180-240 etc etc sanding drums!! Should work good for you!!

So yeah the issues found in the castings won’t typically come to light until the valves are removed right after the valve seat area it’s very common to find a bunch of excess material you’ll wanna clean up since after gasket matching your allowing more air to flow in but it’ll still get trapped or “bottle necked” I like to call it typically just cleaning up the casting or very light porting still show’s benefits since an engine is just a air pump in its most basic form so more air in & more air out is more power!!

Thank you! Overall I made this series on head porting so someone who maybe hasn’t done this style work before can do it at home with a few tools…a shop price for porting can vary depending on where your located & what said shop charges my rates for porting & gasket matching etc etc vary depending on what head someone wants done so a set of LS heads I charge around 300-350 bucks for the pair to port & gasket match but a smaller 2V head like this one in the video I used for an example I charge around 100.00 flat since it doesn’t take me too long to do the work if your ever interested in having some head work done definitely let me know I’ll see what I can do for you!!

This was my first real attempt at laptop style video editing using multiple scenes from one recording etc etc I guess it didn’t turn out bad though..gotta start somewhere!! What do you think about the intro I made and the actual clips blended together?? I seriously Have a lot to learn about editing but got a crash course in it today

@@trucker2b how’d you like phone editing? I was never really able to do much except make a custom thumbnail for me at least it was way harder trying from the phone then moving said video to my laptop for editing…I used something called clip-champ this time fairly straight forward to use…figured if I can use most anyone can I had absolutely no clue how to edit video’s prior to this one 😆 uploading another video that I used that particular software on about how to install/identify your piston rings so people don’t issues with blow-by or compression loss etc etc…hopefully it turns out ok 🤞🤞
