@headgames how similar is the B series head to the C series? Is it worth doing a full P&P on a C series or just clean up and remove the casting imperfections with a 60 grit sanding bit? It’ll be for a turbo setup, shooting for 600-700hp. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I've been searching, can't seem to find this head anywhere. I know Endyn was trying to make something like this back in the day and I think 4pistons took it over? Could be wrong though. Great video, thanks for sharing the knowledge!

Never ported before looking at your mikita and burs would the 1/2 super spiral and 3\8 double cut be just fine for feeling it out?

Very interesting video for sure. How could I port out the grooves in the FA20 cylinder head. It's has two grooves on each side when u remove the metals from the tvg deletes

there is no real reason to do that. The effort wouldn't match the reward in my opinion.

the cam journal area is a little rough and the cam caps don't go on like OEM (different order) but otherwise these things are good!

Its a common misconception that it needs to be sanded. Actually rough is better so this finish is perfectly fine. The porter Darin Morgan said once that the stuff he makes probably couldnt be sold because it looks so bad. But its about making power not having some shiny surface is it not? All the talk about ”polish” intakes, golf ball dimples etc is just gimmick and might even hurt power. 🤷‍♂️
