I just looked back at this first example around the 7:00 mark, and it looks like taking a short position would have been a loss. It did pull back, hovered around that resistance band then continued up to about 1.82. I assume you'd have a pretty tight stop-loss set around 1.8? Another dip down to the same low established here, then way up to highs not reached since 2018. More recently (Feb 4) we saw it retreat back to a new low, (around the high resistance band in this example) and then bouncing back up again.
