@@PrimosTower yeah for sure it takes time to create such detailed videos with graphics etc. As for my commentary - I still cringe hearing it. Especially as I have a little bit of a flu and can kinda hear that, haha. I also try to cut out a bit of dead silence etc. but when it comes to truly helping people - your type of videos are the absolute best and you'll be rewarded accordingly I'm sure. Lots of concise and great info packed in a clear way. Great job again :)

Okay just something to consider CL has no cool down it scales pretty easily and scales with attack speed as well. So early game or not it's actually pretty useful in tournaments so to a certain degree I find it more useful compared to SL and CF for that particular reason and rank it higher

Thanks for the comment! I think you give a good argument but I still think SL or CF are better options to unlock in the early game/mid game. When ranking the UWs I tried to think about when someone should unlock the UW and not just how good it is overall. For new players defense is the name of the game and the Turtle strat is by far the best way to play, that goes for both farming runs and tournaments. While I'm sure CL would help in the beginning at the end of your run defense is what's more important and getting you through those final rounds. In the late game when players are using glass tower builds CL will be more important. In the early to mid game when someone should be focusing more on SL, it offers a coin and damage bonus that cover most of the screen. Economy > Damage always and the damage bonus will work on all sources and would further boost CL's damage. For CF I can see the argument more but in my personal opinion in the mid game having a permanent damage reduction is just too good.

@@PrimosTower I’m already past turtle but I think it would still be nice for the people who just started the game to give them a good direction. A devo guide would be amazing too. A glass cannon build from what I know is something you go for towards the late game it’s too difficult to do in the beginning because of not enough things to scale of off but that’s just from going through the discord.

You hit the lottery for UWs! If I were you I would: 1. Sync GT & BH at 3m 20s (You can wait to sync all at once if you want but if not do GT and BH first) 2. Sync DW at 3m 20s 3. Upgrade GT bonus, BH size, and the duration of both until the cost is above 100 stones per upgrade

Nice overview - I'd give almost exactly the same ranking, but put chain lightning above chrono field and smart missiles mainly because of its high effectiveness with a low stone investment. CF and SM will end up more useful in the end, but require thousands if not tens of thousands of stones to shine. CL is effective with an investment in the hundreds of stones, and also has the great synergy with the dimension core module if you happen to have one. I however still haven't pulled it and it's driving me crazy!

Great guide, thank you! Very new player here, still slowly building my way up through the early game. Still 700 Stones away from synching GT and BH. I'll follow your advice and get that done, then upgrade them before trying for my 3rd UW.

I would maybe bump up Death Wave, or swap Death Wave and Golden Tower. Main reason is that cell bonus. Being able to speed up research, especially in the early game, is a massive advantage. Of course, you need enough coin economy to take advantage of accelerated lab speeds, but DW gets you at least partially covered there as well. Also, any UW that can run constantly, is pretty amazing. You mentioned the holy trinity of BH, GT, and DW, and that they need to remain synced with eachother... but with the BH Perk, and some module bonuses, you can have BH running at all times fairly cheaply. Then you only need to worry about keeping GT and DW in sync on their timers. Spotlight is similarly always-on giving both a coin and damage boost that stacks with BH, and you can cover nearly half of the map without too extreme of a cost. Chrono Field can also be always on, but the primary benefit isn't slowing enemy advancements, it is in the labs... and that is some of the cheapest damage reduction in the game that can help with long-run farming at higher levels to boost coin and cell collection.

I think Chain Lightning is really good and since getting it and investing not a lot stones into it has allowed me to loiter in champions league which i otherwise could not have. If you are able to get the Dimension core module that would significantly increase the CL damage. Right now, with about 500 or so stones invested into CL, its doing 30 times my projectile damage while running DC module.

CL is certainly a good UW I only ranked it there bc I felt other UWs take priority to get first. I assume you’re at a good spot with your economy UWs to where you can focus into damage UWs.

Should update this with UW+. Im not even close but from what i see ILM might deserve a higher ranking for its late game. Basically it stacks up damage until used so it hits like a truck and makes up for some of the uselessness because its stacking more damage while not used.

4:10: not sure why you completely ignore the utility aspect of poison swamp. Yes, the uw duration condition massively lowers it's stun potential, but even then it is still good for chip prevention, especially since it applies to bosses and elites unlike black hole. I don't think anyone outside of the top 50 uses it for anything other than its stun ability (very niche strategies notwithstanding) and even the top 50 mainly prioritize smart missiles and chain lightning for damage from what I have heard.

2:03: I think bh duration is a typo, it says 28 seconds in the video but I am pretty sure you meant 38, as even upon release bh got to 30 seconds duration and recently got buffed to 38 seconds. For anyone interested.

Gonna have to rate chrono field a bit higher. During late game, you will get chrono field + which makes enemies spiral towards the tower like a big toilet. This significant increases the time enemies take to reach you tower and indirectly boost your economy. Enemies can spiral towards your black hole with CF+ who would otherwise miss the black hole if it wasn't for the spiral. You would essentially increase the coin gains by having more enemies "gathered" into the black holes.

@PrimosTower yes depending on range but you would also have to count that bounce shot and chain lightning doesn't kill the enemies outside of black hole. This is also true with Chrono plus but it's less of a chance because you can "gather" them much father out of your tower range(with upgrades ofc).

What I mean to say was yes you're right, but depending on range, it might just hit death wave. It does cover your whole tower but you might just get the DW, GT bonus instead of all 3(DW, GT, BH). And Spotlight if you have it developed

I see what your saying and I’m glad we can agree haha. I’m using orb devo/blender Strat rn so I’m not killing any enemies with damage. I hadn’t thought about how when damage starts to take over in the mid-late game people could have the issue of killing enemies before they enter the BH.

If I have MVN, would you suggest still trying to sync GT/DW/BH, or just start upgrading them? I have 400+ stones currently, 1250 would be the next UW, maybe try to aim for spotlight on next pull? Thanks for advice.

When you are on the home screen the lab is the bottle icon and when in runs you can hit the drop down menu then select the bottle.

Good video and while I agree with the rankings on base versions I will definitely say when it comes to getting UW+; DW+ is king over BH+. The only base ranking I may disagree with is CL; CL in combo with Dimcore mod can be extremely destructive even with minimal investment.

Outstanding guide. If I may, I’d like a follow up to this that shares your recommendations on in what order to upgrade the UWs? For example, I have both GT and BH, I got very lucky. I’m a relatively new player and I’ve made no stone improvements to either. I have 800 stones and I’m not sure what the preferred next move is. Should I upgrade GT or BH first, and where to invest that upgrade OR try for third UW at base stats. So, what’s the upgrade chain? Thank you.

Glad you enjoyed the video! If I were you I would: 1. Save up until I had 910 stones so sync my GT with BH. 2. Upgrade your GT bonus 3. Upgrade your BH size 4. Upgrade GT & BH duration 5. Buy a new UW Also, through the lab make sure you get your second BH and upgrade the BH coin bonus as well as GT duration and bonus.

hi. never had chrono, except with a perk, so i appreciate your opiniion on iy. I got GT and BH right away -- i note here, that it sure seems strange how many people also got GT and the Hole as their firdt two picks --not complaining, but even thouh it involves choosing from a total of three, a,yway. I next got chain lightning, which i love. It is the killer in this game, and it just seems self evident, but I might be wrong, who knows. you have been here longer than i have. Big disagreement on Inner LMs, as well. You gave it an F? Maybe it was D, but in my tower, it got me a ton of progress on the cheap. This deal about it killing tower if too high... What if you are like me, who got it after 5 others? There is no way i get dam from my ILMs, but you might have been thinking from perspective of a new tower getting them, which i for sure know nothing about. it was my no.5 or 6 UW. I cant imagine not having them now, because they are a massive boss-killer in higher wav and tourneys. I forgot, on CL, you can use it as your secret superpower you pull out when all is lost and you are about to get smoked... tadaa MFers!!!! Say hello to my little friends---and nothing cleans up a chaotic looking situation than your own personal powerstation. I love this game too much--if the devs knew i would be blackmailed heavy. okie dokie Mr. Primo, I watch your vids cause they are good.

SL is nice to have but it does take a large stone investment before you see any significant return. As long as you didn’t pass on GT you’re doing just fine!

The format of obtaining being through tournaments and there not having tournaments everyday makes you want to quit the game... at LATE GAME you get 400 if you get 1st place per tournament that happen every other 3 days maybe more. And that is a IF you get 1st place. To get 1 tower to max you need 24k... and you might not even get that tower you need at first. I for instance, got death wave as a first ultimate weapon... Not getting golden tower and being left behind since now you will be at a disavantage against those who have... kinda lame system no? I also NEED to be on during the tournaments or else its another 3 day wait like????

There's no issue if you don't have BH. For the big coin multiples you must have GT. But DW is as good or better because it has a direct increase on cells. I have GT and dual BH, but my cells still suck. I'm very envious of the Death Wave UW, because of cell farming for lab speed. The most I can get is 2000 cells, and I can't figure out how to make it go any higher.
