Thank you!💕 especially thank you for the encouragement at the end… And throughout. Your kind words encouraged a couple tears. It’s an emotional day and I watch you so often, so it’s like you’re a part of my life. Lol I tried making blooms last night in earring molds. I’m looking forward to trying again today. Again I thank you! 🌸

They came out lovely! I would have had trouble with those colours. I am red/blue colour blind like my dad was. One time when my mum was in hospital she asked me to make sure daddy had the right colour tie to go with his lilac shirt for church. Me and dad ended up in stitches cos we hadn’t a clue which one went with it! 🤣🤣🤣

Great video ☺️ it's the first time I've seen the flower blooms done with mica rather than alcohol inks and I was wondering how they would turn out...thanks to you I can see they work great 🤩 Definitely going to try some myself now then they won't fade as quickly as the alcohol ink ones do ☺️

I've watched some of your videos and am subscribed, but I had NO idea you are color blind! That's really cool that you do art. I teach art classes and have had a few folks say they couldn't do something because they're color blind. I can also teach blind folks, but they usually don't participate (my ex mother in law was blind and I taught her to drive ... in a parking lot of course.) My current husband is the nephew of the person on which the blind guy that drove in the movie "Do you See what I Hear" was based ... and was the one who actually drove a drunk brother and his friends home because he was the only sober one, yet was completely blind. Many folks don't know that was a true story. Actually got pulled over because he was driving too slowly. I understand blind as well as color blind. How would you personally go about convincing folks that even though they have a condition that others think is a "disability", they can certainly do art?

You are my biggest supporter and I just love what you say about not ever letting yourself get you down for screwing something up. I’m always so hard on myself and find myself stopping for days at a time when I spend all that time in making things to add req up something and having everything come out looking like a mistake 😞 but listening to you always gets me going again and you always manage to send my butt right back to my crafting chair. Thank you kindly. You’re my absolute favourite person on KZbin. ❤

After watching several people attempt to do these, they all seem to have the best results by putting the white on last, white is always heavier and blooms when heated, so needs to be on top. I think thats why your first one was the best one, there was no colour on top of the white to interfere with the blooming technique. They still all came out really nice though, I really don't know how you manage being colour blind, must make it hard, do you ask anyone before you commit to the colours, just in case.
@JenaHuffman2 жыл бұрын
These turned out really nice! I wasn’t clear in the beginning when you were mixing the colours, did you mix the colours and glitter in the resin and hardener combined? Or was it just in the resin part only?

Do you have to wait for the resin in the mold to thicken up before you put in the centerpiece glitter so it doesn’t sink to the bottom, I saw another video stated that, I was just wondering if it matters.

I am new to Resin and I am trying to understand the process. You mixed the mica into separate bowls but which part did you use? A or B? To be clear, those in the piping bags were never mixed with both A & B? I am looking forward to your reply, thank you.

I’m sick of failing my blooms. I follow everything, like temperature control before decanting resin. I put the heating on, I measure the white pastes I. Drop per 10 grams. Tried castin craft, just resin and let’s resin pastes, you name it and I’ve done it. Still my blooms come out a bit like scales. Just weird. I’m so sad I just don’t know how to do them.😩
