#MARKUSWEIGELT #TECHNO #TUTORIAL
Hey guys, this video starts a new series in which we will cover some of the basic Hard Techno Stuff with FL Studio. There are so many tutorials for Ableton but not so many for FL Studio 21 so I thought let's do it. The next video will contain a guide for the lowend or a whole track I think.
Tracks in the video used:
Sebastian Groth & Markus Weigelt - Midnight Resistance (Out On Rewasted)
Pappenheimer & Markus Weigelt - Ion Storm (Out On Abfahrt Records)
Hope you enjoy
Cheers!

Markus. I appreciate you have made this tutorial for hard techno beginners producers. I am trying to get the point but it is complicated, I am coming for doing more kind of Big Room, and now I want to start with HT since has become my passion. Your tips are really interesting. Please don't stop making videos tutorials, nice to learn from you since I am a fan of your productions.

Thank you for spreading your knowledge! I've been producing music for about 4 years and I've only gotten into Techno/Hard Techno as of the last year, and even with my prior production knowledge from producing other genres, figuring out how to produce hard techno has been exceptionally difficult. Looking forward to seeing more from you!

Great overview with some handy tips! If you are using templates it would be nice if you could go through how you have structure it and and how producers can make their own, adapting it to their own genre. It can be quite useful for having a smooth workflow etc.

Very informative video man, filled with gems! Although I'm missing the point of having 'headroom' because I feel like if you want a good hardhitting kick you really have to hardclip it multiple times so it's sitting at 0db, also at 13:57 your 1st mixer channel is even going above the threshold getting clipped in the master I suppose, Anyways I really liked the video It'd be amazing if you could make more in depth tutorials on different aspects like for example how the kick is processed!
@MarkusWeigeltDE
@MarkusWeigeltDE 6 ай бұрын
Hey man, yeah that's the approach I used to do before - But it's better to just use a Compressor or Limiter for your Low Group to glue everything together without any hardclipping. You are right the first channel is louder than -6db but this was after I did the mixdown. Normally I leave enough headroom:) Thanks for your words man!

Vielen vielen Dank! Also da ist so viel drin.

@MarkusWeigeltDE
@MarkusWeigeltDE 25 күн бұрын

Not very useful for someone who wants to get into making hard techno from scratch. This tutorial has too much of showing your own schit and very overgeneralized tips which don't help very much. What would've been more useful, is: -how to process the kick and drums for hard techno specificly -what type of synths should I use for bass and leads -and any extras that make the song better In other genres I was able to find multiple tutorials that has these covered, but not for hard techno. I searched for hard techno FL studio tutorials, and this is probably the only one. So I guess I'm stuck with searching for all these thing specifically and hope for the best. This is not a critique of your skills, but rather just an observation that for me, this wasn't that helpful.

Hey mate, sorry that the video wasn't very useful for you. I'm working on another one right now where I try to make something from scratch and elaborate every step. As you said I want to cover the low end, Synthesizers that are useful, the general idea for the track until mixdown process. But unfortunately that takes a while you know
