Beginning Gait Training on a Young Horse

That one is breaking my heart. She looks so much like the best and favorite horse I ever had, who was an Appaloosa and "saddle horse" cross. This would be from a couple of counties over from where EZD Falcon Rowdy was foaled, and probably of the same stock. She looked very like that mare in conformation and in color, although she was roan on the front end. It looks like this little gal is really smart and on the ball, as my mare was, and her gaits and action look like they'll be similar as well. It is making my heart ache, as mine is fifteen years gone. She was an amazing saddle horse, and amazing in harness as well, easy to ride, eager to please, a real trier, and fast as well. If you asked her to pull something, it was going to move or she would die trying, so you had to be careful not to hook her to something too heavy. I think you are going to have an amazing little mare there.
