I would. You will fight the weave of the canvas and it can be frustrating.

Dave Help! My roses keep turning into peonies! LOL, Can you show how to make petals look "crisp" with sharp edges. I think this is why my roses look "round" and soft and eventually look like peonies or mums!! Thanks
